Dear SaintJ

Lumps

lol, remember when Saints fans were all about "bad-ass play" the year they were hitting Favre low in the playoffs, when Sharper took a helmet-to-helmet shot on Stewart last year, and when Harper protected the endzone by cheap shotting Smitty. My how things change tonight on SaintsReport:

it was an obvious spear...head on..full speed..leading all the way with the helmet. spearing is not called ONLY if the runner is down on the ground...you can't go helmet to helmet like that...thats 1st and goal on the 1yd line...terrible call.

As upset as I was that we didn't get a penalty on that, and I think it was iffy, I'm more upset at the umber times I saw a niner go into drew's knee without a flag.

I am dropping blame of this loss soley on the NFL front office....

Please follow me...

The league handed us 1 more loss than any other team in the league by making us open the season at Green Bay...a game the visitor has never won.

This put us behind the 8-ball, so to speak and essentially made us the 3 seed instead of the 2 seed.

Ah yes, the NFL wanted you to lose. Great stuff.

Why did WE have to go to GB for the first game of the season??? Please correct me if I'm wrong with this:

After WINNING THE DIVISION, we lost to the Bears in the NFCCG in '06, and we had to play the SB champ Indy in the first game of '07. After winning the SB, we played the Vikes who WON THEIR DIVISION, but lost to us in the NFCCG in '09, in the season opener in '10.

So after LOSING in the 1st round of the playoffs,as a WILDCARD TEAM, (a horrible, poor performing WILDCARD TEAM!) in '10 in Seattle (c'mon man, SEATTLE!!!), why did the NFL gods schedule US to play GB in the first game??? Why not a DIVISION CHAMPION, any DIVISION CHAMPION, heck anybody else???

Why not ATL, a team GB beat in the playoffs in '10, but a team who won their division and had one of the best records in the NFL last year, and were the self proclaimed, "next greatest show on turf" coming in to the 2011 season? Why not the Bears, their bitter division rival, that they beat in the NFCCG in a close game???

WHY the wildcard, one and done Saints? A team retooling with as many as 8 new starters on O and D in a strike shortened TC? ..........."

God, how dare the NFL make you play any games outside of New Orleans? What is this world coming to?!?!

 i just looked at the saints report a few minutes ago to see if they were allowing any trolling like we do and there was this awesome thread from a 49ers fan saying "i told you so" and several 49er fans that i guess had been there all week came back and threw it all back at them.

it was rich, but then they deleted the thread.

i love it.

They delete threads there but are allowed to come here and freely post smack in the main forum. Interesting.

The higher then mighty attitude by all Saints fans is what gets me. As if they have been America's teams since inception in 1960.

Not a one of them is humble about their past prior to D. Brees and Sean Payton

This is what annoys me. You have a few Saints fans that enjoy the winning because they admit that they never thought they would see this in their life time.

Then you have the idiots that believe they are America's team and actually call themselves the model of a winning franchise. Those are the fans that bother me. Know where you came from.

The morning after - and they are going into full excuse mode...now they lost because SF's defense "played dirty". This is too good to be true...

Thats a Dirty team and it was the Difference. Bottom line SF was head hunting nothing more...the officials let the spearing go on and so the Dirty play totally cost us. Imagine if Graham was in Davis' position on the game winning touchdown....they would have lengthened his neck, instead Harper drops his strike zone and makes a legal hit and Davis holds on to the ball while Harper is hurt. If Harper takes a cheap shot like SF was doing all day, puts his helmet on Davis' chin, he is knocked out cold....and who knows if the refs call it (probably would have on us). But with no Davis that offense would have been finished.

The Colston missed catch in the endzone was because he probably was nervous about taking a head shot, losing PT to that flagrant spear, pulled Sproles off of kick returns which led to a Roby fumble.....Dirty football won.

Its obvious is was their plan to hurt our guys with disregard for the rules. They had a interview with Ex-Niner Bill Romanofski (sp) where he was saying this was to be a "stretcher game", "guys need to be taken off on stretchers". The officials let dirty play go the whole game...from hits out of bounds, to roughing Drew on one play, to turning a blind eye to players spearing [PT was taken out and I saw several attempts by Niners to do the same to Ivory]. We lost one of our best skill players on the first drive...almost lost 2 and our guys played with the fear of being knocked out. They called three flags all night...they might as well have put them in a cage.

They took my number 1 spot for most hated team in the south

Arrogant? I've never seen a more arrogant fan base than Carolina's. Wth absolutely zero reason to be.

I guess if you tell yourself your great over and over you actually begin to believe it
