Yeah what I am saying is he held on to the ball too long because he wanted to make plays that weren't there. Instead of throwing it away or looking for and trusting his first option he tries to hold onto the ball for something better. He has done it since UF so that's why I am saying it's not a "young QB" thing for him. He has always had this trait.

well, some young QBs do that though, i havent heard much that do that in college.

As for Gator QBs who were successful, technically, Newton was a Gator for a bit, though he didnt start at all.
