Really? Because here in the south, a rap hater is in the minority. The very, very small minority. So I say "oh look another rap lover...cool" INRL :rolleyes:. In fact I'm pretty sure the hip hop scene now days is the majority so your comment doesn't make much sense. Maybe on the forums?

And, I don't hate 'rap', I hate 'modern rap' and I hate talentless bullpoo, no matter the genre. In fact there is stuff that I hate, but respect because of the talent. MM has no substance. Since when does talking about raping women qualify as music or substance? When you hang out with your bros do you talk about raping women? No? You just listen to someone sing it and talk about how cool it is?

In my circle someone spewing garbage like that and similar poo get their ass beat or laughed at, why does someone 'singing' it change that?

There is some rap I like, but it's fading out quicker than instruments.

Doesn't have to be raping women. Jut has to have substance. And I never said anything about those guys, in honesty I haven't heard a things from them and jayz is the only one that I know the name lol.

I have heard plenty of eminem though and it's garbage.

His talent does not lie in lyrics or an instrument. He may be a good rapper but he isn't the whole package. There are plenty of rappers, much less known who have it all.

There is no wrong answer, music is subjective. The raping women comment was exclusive to MM and I just think there is more to music than asking slim shady to stand up and talking about murdering and raping a weaker creature which now that I think of it probably isn't the case for MM.

Call me a women lover but disrespecting and disregarding them isn't music to my ears and I think we can all admit that cancels out 95% of 'well-known, modern' rap.
