there's a big difference between accepting different opinions and listening to bullpoo.. don't compare the two..

plenty of people have opinions.. we can disagree all day, but when people are spouting off our rookie DTs should look like veterans out on the field, then face it, you're a joke.. This is a forum, expect to hear some truth.

I love this whole idea that people shouldn't be called out because they rather be irrational... it's an internet forum right?

let me reiterate... there's a big difference between accepting different opinions and listening to bullpoo.. don't compare the two..

Your comment on Naanee was just a good example at the moment.. People are constantly bashing Naanee like he's our #1 receiver.. how people want to bash him as a 4th option is beyond me.. can we upgrade? yeah, what position is that not true aside from Cam, Smitty, Olsen, Beason, Gamble, CJ...

------------

Don't try to rationalize the idiocy of comments like "Naanee had to have like 20 drops this season" or using terms like "volume of drops" to describe 5...

perhaps you 2 shouldn't have been the primary focus in this particular thread.. but "internet forum" or not, this forum represents our fanbase and the sad thing is outside of it: it's even more pathetic.. feel free to join me in trying to elevate our fanbase so we don't look like such a joke..

accepting different opinions has nothing to do with accepting fabricated bullpoo...

Well, what you're essentially doing is killing a fly with a Sherman tank. I don't know who said Naanee had 20 drops, but tell them what an idiot they are. I don't know who said the rookie DTs should've played like vets, but tell them about it.

I make a positive thread with a semi-sarcastic comment about Naanee, as he was sort of a running joke at the beginning of the season for the entire forum, and you attack me completely unprovoked.

This isn't the first time you've done it.

I may post out of emotion about our team or their performance at times, but I also post a lot of substantial things, whether it be news about the team or analyzing the hows and whys of a certain aspect of on-field performance.

So, I'm by no means the posterboy for what you're railing against. Far from it. In fact, I hadn't encountered this much sh*t talk from fellow fans EVER until this year, and I've been here since the beginning (relatively).

I've always posted in the same manner, so it isn't that my posting just went to sh*t overnight... For whatever reason, several posters jumped on a high-horse together and feel they have the right to decide what posts are good or bad for the majority.

The sh*t is ridiculous.

You just wrote all that in your original response to me talking about letting players grow and people still pointing out Naanee's drops aren't giving him his due... Then you mockingly ask who would we put in his place "Armanti or Pilares?"

So why don't those guys get their due? How do you know they won't grow? Why don't they get a chance or the benefit of the doubt?

I would give your argument more credence if you weren't making it up as you go because you have a personal grudge with someone's posting style.

I don't know where you've been the last year, but the "posting style" from majority has gone to poo.. Now that this franchise looks like it's on the up and up, people still want to nitpick every f**king thing.. When the masses come out extremely negative on every little short sighted remark, it gets old reading how McDermott is a poo DC with all things considered, or how Rivera doesn't have what it takes with all things considered, or how our rookie DTs suck with all things considered, or that Naanee couldn't catch a cold despite all things considered...

who said Pilares and AE won't get their due? Who said they won't grow? But if you seriously think they should be starting next year, then yeah, that's pretty laughable.. Until they show they can get open to get in position to earn 44 catches, then what is your point? I never said to cut them... Ironically, I would expect most people who consistently overreact to want them cut because they can't quite grasp the concept of how a football team functions... (actually, AE has one more off-season to get right or I don't see him around much longer..)

anyhow, posts like these group you in with the patients running the asylum...

A WR who can't catch, falls down when he does catch, tips balls up to be returned for TDs, and a WR who whiffs on blocks. In other words, Legadu Naanee.

PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHY HE IS ON THIS ROSTER.

Your 2+4 more words: Armanti Edwards is better than him.

In our history of horrible #2 WRs, I have never seen one this bad. Every f*cking game he is horrible and makes 3-4 REALLY bad plays that could be game changers.

WTFWTF1?1?1?1?1? I hate this stupid motherfuger!!1

f**king pussy.

:smh:

This should be the catalyst to his release this week. f**king bitch.

TBH, Legadu has made me miss Jarrett as horrible as his time here was.

I honestly wonder if he wouldn't have had more success with this coaching staff too.

But out of this group, it would be Carter, Jarrett, Colbert, then Darvin Adams with one arm.

He f**king sucks. In every possible f**king way. I hate this dude, seriously. He's garbage. He can't run. Doesn't separate. When he finds holes in the defense he tries to body catch or falls down so he won't take a hit. f**king pussy man.

should I go on? I mean, are you really going to question why I think you overreact much?

and that was just on a random, quick google search...

Summarize your post......

The stat compiled by experts does not support my opinion (which is based solely on emotion). Therefore, I chose to disregard the statistic.

Drops isn't an official statistic, so please tell me what experts compile these stats? And why do you think my opinion on Naanee is based solely on emotion? I don't know the guy. He's never done anything to me, I have no reason to have a bias against him. I was happy about his signing before the season, I remember how he played well in SD when VJax and Floyd were injured the year before and thought he could be a solid #2 or 3.

So to summarize, when drops become an official statistic and the term is defined so we know what the criteria is I'll regard it more highly. That's not emotion, that's logic.

Just in case my point wasn't clear above.. I'm basing my opinion on this forum's strange desire to berate players for things they were never intended to be..

#1 receiver is not written in the stars for Naanee.. but the constant bashing of him is uncalled for and a little perspective would easily show you our soon-to-be #4 receiver is a very solid option should we need him.

so please, go back and watch the games and then you can report back to us exactly how pooty of a receiver he is for a backup...

I didn't expect him to get 1000 yards and 10 tds, but even backups should have caught the passes he was dropping in the first few games. And for the first few games, he hasn't a backup. He was the starter and was getting the passes in critical moments of game. In those critical moments he seemed to be playing lazily. That's when I started bashing him. Naanee choked as much as Mare, so he deserves the same level of disgust and the same pink slip as Mare.

The intensity of you two defending Naanee is confusing, attacking people over a guy who didn't even try to catch two passes at the end of the Arizona game that could have tied it up. I usually agree with your opinions bleys, but if anything is uncalled for it's this rage at anyone who speaks ill of Naanee.

Great job hall monitor. Everyone knows I post angry during and immediately after games, which I'm guessing about 95% of those quotes came from.

And according to your logic, we should all be sheeple because everything that is typed onto the internet is the absolute truth and should be taken literal.

Now go back and find my posts from midweek... Find my posts towards the end of the season about him. Because the best time to gain insight from posters and their football acumen is during gamedays during losing seasons...

And that was all about Legadu, so regardless, you're still railing against me because of a general problem with the forum... Go back and read those threads and tell me how many regular posters didn't say he sucked. "CUT HIM" is this forum's way of saying this guy sucks enormously. But please, continue to overreact.

And how do you not know that Pilares or AE couldn't have done what Legadu did with the time and opportunities given? You don't. So why are you slighting them? You just did the exact same thing you are chastising me for. Legs hadn't produced like this until this season, so you couldn't have known it either, yet you get angry at those for making jokes about him?

Everyone knows he sucked to start the year and when did he improve? When he took a reduced role. If you search non-gameday threads, I'm willing to bet you'd find where I suggested LaFell should start and it may help Legadu...

But ignore that too. What you COULD do is actually dicuss the topic at hand in this thread instead of crying to anyone that will listen about how unhappy you are with this board while contradicting yourself.

actually this was a great platform.. No one expects everyone to agree. But what might help is when you start getting menstrual cramps, to log off and avoid throwing up all over the forum. You're right this is an internet forum, so it bothers me not to point out the lunacy around here.

my bad though.. I'll pay someone to keep tabs on every poster so his/her high grossing income may tell me what time of the week to expect their menstrual cycle to kick in. Then I can simply say "oh, that's just proudiddy being proudiddy... Everyone knows he's emotional and it too shall pass."

don't worry, I'll get right on that. ;)

as for AE and Pilares, unless you think our coaches suck, they'll determine the best route despite your irrelevant questions to me. The difference between my point and yours as of now, Naanee has proven to the coaching staff he can get open and catch the ball. and yours is what exactly? right, there really isn't a point other than "how does bleys know AE and Pilares couldn't possibly somehow maybe light up the field if they started?"... I appreciate that enlightening question and I shall ponder on it for the next few months..
