Most sane human beings would rather be in Miami than St Louis, therefore, Fisher must prefer the Rams for football (#1 QB, playing in a Dome, not having to play the Patriots twice a year) and financial reasons (if the team moves back to LA he probably gets more money and a location just as nice as Miami).

Miami vs. St Louis...he must be leaning towards the Rams, because there's no other real reason for there to be any competition between the two cities. Weather-wise, one is in hurricane alley, the other is in tornado alley. At least you can see a hurricane coming.

LA fuccking sucks. Pure metropolitan decay.

After Jeff Fisher, Ram fans seem content with Rob Chudzinksi being their next HC.

http://www.clanram.com/forums/f11/rob-chudzinksi-47354/

They site his work with Antonio Gates and the development of Derek Anderson and of course Cam Newton as the main reasons why they want him. Even squeezing the best out of the end of Jeremy Shockey's career. If Chud leaves, do you think he takes some of the current offensive staff with him in way of promotions? Shula, Scott Turner in particular?

for the record, they don't seem to have a good message board...this was the best I found. Some of them also seem to think his name is "Rod"

Remember, an OC or head coach can only work with what they have in the form of athletes. All those athletes that you mentioned have to bring something to the table to work with. So let the other teams believe that it's all Chud and hire him as HC. Hopefully it can only help Chud.

Rams Twitter account reported that Chud's interview is complete as of 15 minutes ago and says "Denver DC Dennis Allen up next" - dunno if they mean immediately up next or tomorrow.

He is the afternoon interview.

I still say Chud would be best served waiting another year, but my opinion is highly biased.

Lets see if the Rams bring in more folks as they become eligible to be interviewed as the season winds down. I don't know why anyone would pick a HC unless they talked to folks in Green Bay, New Orleans, New England and other places who are still in the hunt. I would be surprised if they pick someone this early unless they are trying to get the jump on other teams or afraid someone else will snap up their favorite.

Interesting they would interview Dixon while Denver is still playing. I thought you had to wait until they were eliminated.

Also interesting they are interviewing guys like Chud and Dixon who have no headcoach experience at any level and frankly not much coordinator experience.

one thing i'm wondering for these teams hiring HCs is, who is their rooney rule candidates?

Rams: Ray Horton

Chiefs: self-explanatory

Dolphins: Todd Bowles (interim coach)

Jaguars: Mel Tucker (interim coach)

Bucs: Jerry Gray

Raiders: haven't interviewed anyone yet, to my knowledge

Speaking of Horton, this is interesting...Horton blew the Rams away in interview
