Fox has done well with that defense and what Josh had left him. Honestly Fox ball works well with crappy teams and he is surrounded by them in the West. Unless somehow Norv turns around the Boltz I see Fox winning the Div next year as well. I think we can all agree that Fox pretty much mailed in his last year with the Panthers.

That's crappy, but I don't know that it puts him in "scumbag" territory.

Hard to blame him for taking the job in Denver seeing as they were the only ones interested. And it's not like you can fault him for winning there. Also, the Panthers aren't exactly chopped liver now under Rivera.

Overall, I'd say that particular divorce worked out well for both sides.

regardless of what you think about his skill set the guy obviously has enough talent to make the right play at the right time, whether by running the ball or passing it. He's contributed heavily to their winning formula. He dramatically improved their W/L record when he replaced Orton as the starter. They weren't exactly world beaters with Kyle under center.

he's the perfect QB for Fox. If Fox can work with him to on his areas of improvement they'll be competitive in years to come, and he'll deserve his own credit for that. If he doesn't get better Fox will catch poo for it. The Golden Calf of Bristol's shown enough to be the biggest figure in Denver right now, and nobody's going to lose their job before him.

More than one writer has said Fox believed he was worth a much higher salary than his actual results merited. Think it was Gantt who said he thought he should be paid like a top five coach.

When he wasn't extended, I think he knew he was a lame duck, and so he just kind of said "why should I develop these guys just so someone else can come in and get the rewards?" (which, you could argue, is a valid point)

Most of the players haven't said much about Fox's last year, but those who have give the definite impression that his heart wasn't in it. And yeah, some folks might not blame him.

Me? I don't care. I'm just glad the whole nightmare is behind us.

The Golden Calf of Bristol had basically the same yards rushing as Cam in 5 fewer games and with far far less talent around him.

The Golden Calf of Bristol is not a good QB, I have no idea how they keep winning....maybe he is the anti-christ or something (actually its because of Denvers defense). He has the worse throwing mechanics and footwork I have ever see on a starting QB......EVER.

Everytime I see him in the backfield run around in circles like a chicken with its head cut off, I think "What an ass clown." -_-

I really hope Brady ends this whole The Golden Calf of Bristol charade this weekend.
