I think 10-6 would be where we should finish.

Bucs - Win 2x

Falcons - Split

Saints - Split

Patriots - Loss

Bills - Win

Jets - Win

Dolphins - Win

Cowboys - Win

Redskins - Win

Eagles - Win

Giants - Loss

Cardinals - Loss

Vikings - Loss

We could end up beating the Vikes/Cards or losing to Bucs/Eagles so 9-7 to 11-5 is our range in my honest opinion.

I think you may be on to something there, I wouldn't bet against it shall we say...

because his faith in the panthers ability to string together two winning seasons in a row is equal with yours?

no reason to believe that we can't win more than half of our games.

Oh, I believe we can win 6 games, but not against the NFCE, AFCE and NFCS, plus the Cardinals.

We would need to have the AFCW and NFCW on our schedule.

I am going to say the Panthers go 10-6, I hate to predict this early because we still have the draft ahead and more moves to make along with every other team on our schedule. Not to mention possible injuries to our players or opponents players.. I can't wait though  went to the N.C.State spring game today, god I love warm weather, so many beautiful women :P Mario Williams was at the game, Peps my boy and all since we used to ball together but i'd love to swap Pep for Super Mario (I know it'll never happen btw)

Yea, Mario has a bigger motor then Peppers. So I see your point there...

I'm trapped up north and don't get to see any games lol, I'll get to see Tampa at Buffalo this year as I bought first row end zone seats. Musta been nice to see all that tight booty in the stands ;)

Yeah, and I sat on the first row by the field  The dance team was right in front of us, spent as much time watching them as I did watching the game haha but the finest female I saw was this blonde in a white tank top next to me taking pictures....

People, we went 12-4 last year, and didn't even have the best defense at times. We have a new DC who can't be any worse than what we had before. I am thinking that our defense will surprise a lot of people. If Pep is here he will be "beasting" once again, Beason will be Beason, Davis will become Beason lite, and Charles Johnson will be Peppers lite. Marshall and Harris will step up, and the youngsters (in general) will infuse a lot of exuberance and heart into the overall spirit of the defense.

On offense, we have the best running game in the NFL (perticularly now that Ward is no longer with the Giants), we still have one of the best---if not the best---WR in the game, as well as a solid #2 WR, and a talented #3 WR who showed some hearrt and promise last year. Our TEs, when used at strategic points during the flow of the game, are a talented duo who can probably get us 40-60 yards a game on the regular (or perhaps more).

When you match us up with many teams in the NFC South, as well as the rest of the NFL, we match up well. Match up our guys to a man with most teams, and we are better.

There is no reason why we should not get to 10-6. If we don't, you can blame it on on Fox and/or Delhomme. Fox and Delhomme have a lot of face to save (especially Delhomme). If Fox can make decent decisions and adjustments on the sidelines, and Jake can keep his head in the game on a consistent basis, then we should definitely get to 10-6, if not 11-5 or 13-3 (to be very very optimistic). I just can't see us falling from 12-4 to 9-7 and under, unless we have a lot of injuries and/or a meltdown on the sidelines.

10-6 is a realistic expectation. Below that is failure.
