Post your W/L predictions here...

week 1-eagles L

McNabb is a clutch Quarterback, home or not... I think he'll be carving your secondary up all game, Westbrook basically needs to add 50 yards rushing here which is a given and its a close win for the Eagles. That is unless Brian Dawkins leaving takes a big toll.

week 2-@ atlanta L

If you forget, Matt Ryan's rookie side brought up the Falcons scoring 45 points on the Panthers last season. Whats going to change here? Your only hope is to contain Turner or hope he gets hurt week 1.

week 3-@ dallas L

Dallas may be a shell of itself but possibly has the best ground game set in place with Barber, Jones, Choice... Plus I think DeMarcus Ware rattles Jake enough for you guys to lose it. Best hope is to pound them out like the Ravens did, which your very capable but Dallas is always money early in the season.

week 4-bye

Sucks to be you guys.... horrible week for a bye week.

week 5-washington W

Well Carolina should have the edge here, unless Carlos Rodgers pulls a Antoine Winfield.

week 6-@ tampa bay L

Its going to be a ugly game but I don't see Carolina walking in and winning this one as evidenced last season to a 27-3 loss. New scheme, new guys, your not going to be able to expect the same team from the previous Bucs. Your hope here is the Bucs dline collapses before you guys meet up. Plus like you say down in your Giants game, Derrick Ward was the answer to you guys losing... so no Derrick Ward, no problem... oh wait, Derrick Ward will be playin with Earnest Graham pulling the power running role. Jake typically turns the ball over 2-3 times too against Tampa.

week 7-buffalo W

Ya, I think this game you guys abuse Owens and your ground game posts 200+ rushing.

week 8-@ arizona L

Couldn't stop them at home, don't see how your going to travel on the road and beat the at their own place. Better hope Warner/Fitzgerald isn't active. Run the ball this time, and the first time you guys met, Carolina barely squeaked out a come behind win.

week 9-@ new orleans L

Yea, I hate the Saints too. Worse then the Falcons. I think you guys follow up week 8 right with a similar performance of being burned for 300+ yards passing back to back weeks.

week 10-atlanta W

Yea, your guys real edge is at home and might be the only real advantage here. Ryan might also do you guys in if your not forcing any pressure and you get a heavy dose of Turner and Roddy White. Carolina takes it though.

week 11-miami W

Miami collapses yet again, Parcells or not... I don't see them doin enough to put you guys away.

week 12-@ new york jets W

I just don't see them having enough to beat you guys either. Their best bet is to try to keep it close and win by a field goal but still... very unlucky.

week 13-tampa bay W

Being at home is your strength. Jake will still turn it over atleast twice even if you do win.

week 14-@ new england L

You kidding? December at New England with Brady back to top shape. How you gonna stop Moss or Welker?... Their defense does have enough to stop your run game. Definatley a guaranteed loss if there is one on the schedule.

week 15-minnesota W

Yea, you guys win here aslong as D doesn't fumble like Peterson does. Just don't let Winfield blow Jake up again, that was the real turning point in your last meeting.

week 16-@ new york giants L

Brandon Jacobs alone can handle the load, plus the Giants should have Braylon Edwards by this week and they have a improved defensive line from last year. Steve Smith has also progressed and I see him out doing your Steve Smith. Carolina won't win here... Again.

week 17-new orleans W

Yea, home and Brees should be a little beat up about now. Perfect time to ground and pound them if your backs are still healthy enough. Won't be pretty though.

You have proven consistenly over the past two days to be the typical Bucs idiot fan. Please move on and go back to playing PS3 in your mom's basement.

Lone Buc Fan: The best thing about your team was your defense. You let the one the best defensive coordinator in the league get away. Your team died down the end of the season. You squeaked games out early. You easily could have been 6-10. Now you are sucking wind and figure to try and figure out loses for us so you can somehow end up on top.

You come into our forum professing your overall intelligence of the game and then predict losses like we were .500 last season. What about returning 21 of 22 Starters (if Peppers stays) The offensive line that dominated your defense. An offense that is 100% intact with a mission to fix a brain fart.

EVERY SINGLE GAME is realistically winable. There isn't a game that we have no chance in. 16-0 doubt it. 8-8 doubt it as well. Unless we get hit by the injury bug I would realistically believe 10-6 or 11-5.

I bank our season on a few things.

1. Meeks will bring a style and flair to our team dropping our points against by 3 pts a game. (17.6 from 20.6)

2. Jake gets rid of the SMITTY tunnel vision and spread the ball around.

3. Jarrett steps in and becomes a 3rd factor in our WR corps.

4. Collectively the Tight Ends become more of a factor.

Those 3 small changes to our offense will raise our Pts Per Game by 2 (27.9 from 25.9)

Four very realistic and obtainable goals. If we reach these goals we can be as dangerous as any team we are going to face.

That gives us a nearly 10pt difference per game. I'll take the 11-5.

Go Panthers

Now Kurb sees that I'm actually offering the forum some quality discussion and am being verbally attacked constantly.

Kiffin was on his way out, whether we wanted him to be or not. Jim Bates has put up solid defenses over the years. The Bucs will be a younger, more aggressive team... even if that means making mistakes. You won't see a idle offense that doesn't put any points on the board or a defense that gets their ass beat on by simple run plays

Its a new scheme and guys will be used differently then Kiffin was using them, not safe to say if it'll even be a drop off but I can still see the Bucs having a top 5-10 pass defense as usual.

The Panthers will have a drop off in production, Jake won't fix his problems overnight as he'll still make plenty of mistakes. Compare both games, the second game your offensive line dominated our beat up defense, yet in the first game when the Bucs defense was intact and healthy... your offense was manhandled all game. Its just as easy to point one flaw out for another of equal value.

Carolina plays rough on the road and like I said, I have you guys slated to only lose 1 game at home this year and that'll be because of McNabb torching your secondary. The Eagles are strong enough to go into any house and beat any team in the NFL... Ask the Steelers, who were a better team then Carolina last year.

Meeks is more filling in as Trgo wanted out of Carolina, same with Bates taking over Kiffin's job. Bates has a better track record of coaching his defenses to top 10 finishes then what Meeks does.

Jake will always be Jake, has his good moments and his bad moment. Smith is Jake's main target and thats not about to change anytime soon.

Jarrett already could be a factor at WR, he could have been last year too... still doesn't change the fact that Jake doesn't entirely read coverages like he should to get him the ball. Jake even missed a good chunk of passes to Smith when he was wide open by not looking his way.

Your tight ends will be the worst set in the South, bank on it. Tampa has a 4 TE set with 3 guys who can provide receiving threats. Your TEs are blockers, nothing more. King doesn't get many passes anymore and the 2 other guys really haven't shown they can be a factor yet.

I'm just glad the Bucs are becoming a run first team with 4 decent to above average running backs and going to feature a vertical passing offense, which wasen't the case under Gruden. I'm sick of us hardly putting over 20 points up a game... That'll change this year, bank on that. No matter who is the QB, we'll score more then 20 more often then we don't this year.

How did that Top 5 Defense like thant MNF humiliation at the hands of Double Trouble? We whipped them so bad that they never were the same after that game.

The fact that you think the Bucs can win 11 games this season makes you worse than a homer...you are a blind homer.

This is just a quick little write up. Don't hold it against me because we haven't even had the draft yet.

Week 1 Philadelphia Eagles-W

Jake will be out to prove himself.

Week 2 @ Atlanta Falcons- W Tough call here but I think the panthers will be on a roll from week 1.

Week 3 @ Dallas Cowboys- W After all of the years getting cheated by the refs the panthers bury them in their new stadium. Unless cheated by the refs, which is a likely scenario because this is a prime time game.

Week 4 BYE

Week 5 Washington Redskins- Coming off an early bye I think we might see a loss similar to Vikings game last year.

Week 6 @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers- W

Week 7 Buffalo Bills- Win but possible Texans style bullsh1t loss here.

Week 8- Arizona Cardinals- Win. This is a revenge game. Fox won't be so arrogant this time and will have a new game plan for the cards.

Week 9- @ New Orleans Saints- Dominating Win

Week 10-Atlanta Falcons- Toughie. I could see the Falcons edging us here.

Week 11-Miami Dolphins- Win. Dolphins only went to the playoffs because Brady went down.

Week 12 @ New York Jets- Loss

Week 13-Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Win. Get mad bucs fan.

Week 14-@ New England Patriots-Toss up

Week 15-Minnesota Vikings- Win. We should have won last time.

Week 16-@ New York Giants- Win. Revenge game

Week 17- New Orleans Saints- Loss

11-5, 12-4 is not out of the question. Plus alot of the teams we think are going to be tough won't be and vice versa.

Week 1 Philadelphia Eagles-W - It will be a brutal game, it's really a toss up.

Week 2 @ Atlanta Falcons- L - The only team that is our match is Atlanta, I think we will split the series for many years to come.

Week 3 @ Dallas Cowboys- W - Plain and simple, the cowboys are going to get rocked.

Week 4 BYE

Week 5 Washington Redskins - W - By this time everybody will be realizing that the skins won't be getting their money's worth.

Week 6 @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers- W - If the buccaneers do any better than 4th place in the division It will be a surprise to me.

Week 7 Buffalo Bills L - We just plain lose.

Week 8- Arizona Cardinals W - Close Win and sweet revenge.

Week 9- @ New Orleans Saints- W Dominating Win.

Week 10-Atlanta Falcons - W Falcons win at home and we win at home.

Week 11-Miami Dolphins- Win

Week 12 @ New York Jets- Win

Week 13-Tampa Bay Buccaneers- W Total domination.

Week 14-@ New England Patriots- Win

Week 15-Minnesota Vikings- W AP and D-will show their stuff, Panthers prevail.

Week 16-@ New York Giants- Win and sweet revenge.

Week 17- New Orleans Saints -L We don't sit our starters but New Orleans still prevails.

Of course I'm being generous, but barring injuries i think it is entirely possible. I think this team has built up a core that is different from our previous years and they can start putting successful seasons together. The key last year was the running game, and that will be even better next year.

13-3 is out of the question, get outta this post if you think the Panthers win 13 or more... that or get back to playing Madden.

I started this topic actually I'd much rather have you leave, I made it to post W/L records and you filled up a good bit of it with drivel and smacktalk. You also continue to post things that prove you don't know much about the panthers, and then when people criticize you after you've been so annoying you start to complain and pretend to be unfairly persecuted. It's getting really old.

You didn't even read the whole post, I stated I was being generous but at this time of year i like to be optimistic. You may not have caught that because i had to edit it to fix all of the bold font.

And please don't insinuate I'm some madden nerd, you joined this site 3 days ago and you have as much posts as some people have had since the original site crashed. I thought i came on here too much posting 3 times a day, you post 77 times a day. I can't even imagine what your life is like.

I am admittedly not a 24-7 huddle regular, but I am surprised LBF hasn't been banned for flaming/trolling. I mean he joined 3 days ago and hasn't done anything but flame. I have seen a permaban for much less on other forums. Just noticed is all, not necessarily a suggestion, but hey I wouldn't mind to see Liked-By-Few to be subjected to the smack forum.
