Good news from Jax.

Nice, was any other team considering him, that we know of? Any chance Oakland takes a run at him if they can't get the GB assistant?

no, i think if they dont get Winston Moss, they get another Packers assistant.

I bet it came down to how they feel about Blaine Gabbert. I see Mularky being able to work on Blaine in the way he did Ryan. If Jacksonville was thinking of drafting RG3 then i could see them wanting Chud.

no, they would NEVER have gotten RG3 unless they had the 2nd pick in the draft. why trade up for RG3 if you are the Jags???? i mean, you traded up last year for a QB, why do it two years in a row??? i think they do the smart thing, get the WR they NEED and develop around Gabbert who i think can play.

That doesn't make sense.

Armanti Edwards WR

Jimmy Clausen- Second Round Pick, didn't trade up for the pick

Cam Newton- First Overall Pick, still didn't trade up for the pick.

It makes perfect sense. The Panthers top 3 picks from the last 2 drafts are QB's. 2 of them are completely useless & a waste of a high draft pick/roster spot.

Armanti Edwards played QB in middle school, high school, & college. Drafting him & putting WR beside his name doesn't magically make him a WR.
