Everyone is arguing about the wrong thing. If you don't like the system say so.

If you don't think Bama and LSU should have been in the NCG then we have a different story.

What determines that is what you see on the field. To be exact there are computer polls and Human Polls.

This is stupid. LSU has proven they were one of the two best teams in the country. They went undefeated. This takes reaching to an absurd level.

Yes they went undefeated which proves they "deserved" it, just like I said.

But they didn't prove they were the best team. You can't prove you're the best team in 12 games in a field of 120 teams. They proved they could beat all the teams they played.

Going undefeated and playing the schedule they played proves they are one of the two best teams in the country. Care to take a guess who the other is? As said RK said, please name me two teams better than LSU

I don't think they "got it wrong", I think there were more than two teams that should've been in the NC game. Alabama got the lucky draw, and won a game at the right time. By no means are the in any way obviously the best team in the country.

      Respectfully, I completely disagree. Last year we were:  32nd in Sacks. 32nd in Turnovers.  32nd in Rushing TDs allowed  29th in Scoring.  We were absolutely atrocious on defense last year and that was with a full stable of weapons in Derek Brown, Frankie Luvu and Brian Burns that played all 17 games.  Using yards per game as a metric to guage our success lacks the context that because our offense was so inept teams were not driving the length of the field, they were starting at their 40-50 yard line.  This year, our Defense ranks:  31st in Sacks. Tied for 19th in Turnovers  31st in Rushing TDs allowed 32nd in Scoring  His defense fails to get pressure, fails to turn the ball over and fails to stop the run. Three things you absolutely have to do to be successful in the NFL.  Denver meanwhile has not missed a beat without him.  If another team wants to hire him as a HC and the Panthers get two 3rds for it I'll wish him the best and pack his bags myself.
