LSU obviously should have been in the game.

Alabama proved they deserve to be there over anyone else.

We aren't going to find out for a fact who would have won in a game between whomever you want to play, not this year. So the voters are forced to pick the two best teams and send them to play in the NC game. I'm saying they were right.

If you wanna whine about something, whine about the BCS system, but tonight's game proved you can't whine about the choices.

This is the case with the SEC. Is it the best conference? Why yes it is. Is it so much better than the other conferences that just being in the conference should grant any team besides Kentucky and Vanderbilt a preseason ranking? No, it isn't.

These inflated preseason ranking skew the entire season in favor of the SEC.

You obviously can't take LSU out, and you most certainly can't take Alabama out.

Still waiting to hear who should have been in the NC game over the only team that went undefeated and the only team better than them.

Before the Fiesta Bowl I could have named three other than LSU. A computer ranking, which does its factoring from a list created in the pre-season on the opinions of humans is NO way to figure out who is best. The only way is to let them play. LSU beat Bama. Bama beat LSU. They both have one loss now. So does OSU. The system is flawed and you know it.

Look, just about every year until this year I have said that clearly the SEC was the best football conference in college football.

This year they weren't. And a team that didn't win its division, or have to play a conference championship game got a free pass into the NC game and is now supposed to be the national champions?? LOL.

Yes I guess they did beat Arkansas this year. The team that barely beat Troy and Ole Miss. So... I guess that means something.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma State runs through Kansas State, Texas A&M, Texas, Oklahoma, and Baylor and beats the poo out of all of them.

If you really think that Alabama was more deserving to be in this game than OSU or that Alabama or LSU would have just rolled over OSU you are just an SEC homer or an ESPN Gameday viewer.

I could give a rats ass, but Alabama lost to LSU at home... right? So the BCS says the regular season is the most important thing, not true at all. Look at the NFL.. the Giants and Broncos wouldn't have a chance right? The game is played on the field and college football is a freaking joke until 8 team playoff decides the champion. Hope AP votes LSU champs and glad I didn't watch this crap of a game.

Nobody is saying they shouldn't have been in the game (as far as I can tell). They (or at least I) are using them as a counter argument to saying bama deserved it because of how they played tonight (hindsight).

Is bama the best team in the country? Maybe, the system isn't really designed to determine the best team it's designed to make a lot of money.
