That's just what I'm saying RK. Prior to the game people were whining that Alabama should not have been there. Now that they proved they should have been, people attack LSU, which is ridiculous considering they were the only undefeated team.

It seems an awful lot like people are just pouting and looking for an excuse to take the SEC out of it if you ask me.

Oh and if you followed recruiting, you would know that "BIG TIME" players go everywhere.....

Just because experts say it doesn't make it 100% true. How do we know OK state wouldn't do the same to LSU that Alabama did to them?

You're only argument is stating that OK state, Stanford, or even the late November Oregon team couldn't handle each of these teams and I'm going back to my argument that we will truly not know.

fug this poo, I'm going to bed. This game showed without a doubt, why we absolutely need to rethink the BCS system and how a champion is decided....

i do, but most big time guys go to were? go look at the top 20 guys from last year 10 went to SEC schools.

Right, thats all well and good. But there isn't one. And one wasn't going to be thrown in in the middle of the year to appease you guys, and they weren't going to force one of the two top teams in the country to sit out of the NC game because they wanted to ensure you guy s were "excited."

      Respectfully, I completely disagree. Last year we were:  32nd in Sacks. 32nd in Turnovers.  32nd in Rushing TDs allowed  29th in Scoring.  We were absolutely atrocious on defense last year and that was with a full stable of weapons in Derek Brown, Frankie Luvu and Brian Burns that played all 17 games.  Using yards per game as a metric to guage our success lacks the context that because our offense was so inept teams were not driving the length of the field, they were starting at their 40-50 yard line.  This year, our Defense ranks:  31st in Sacks. Tied for 19th in Turnovers  31st in Rushing TDs allowed 32nd in Scoring  His defense fails to get pressure, fails to turn the ball over and fails to stop the run. Three things you absolutely have to do to be successful in the NFL.  Denver meanwhile has not missed a beat without him.  If another team wants to hire him as a HC and the Panthers get two 3rds for it I'll wish him the best and pack his bags myself.
