I've heard his name. Watched a couple games and he's not as impressive as everyone makes him out to be. He's no AJ Green. Nor Julio Jones. Nor Alshon Jeffery. Heck, he's not even a Percy Harvin, Sammy Watkins, Dexter McCluster, or Randall Cobb.

But but but...he plays for his favorite team..it just can't be true that he isn't one of the best players ever..especially when C 174638:$/&()) has proven to be objective in the past.

But, but, he doesn't play for an SEC team so he must be overrated. Please, go back and read some of my game threads from USC games. I have been pretty critical of the team when they've played bad. Just pull up the thread for the game against ASU if you want to see how "objective" I am....

Yeah but we aren't arguing what conference is better. People are arguing if OSU or Bama is a better team.

You have to take into account both sides of the ball. Not only do you have to have a good QB but you also have to have a good defense to get a good view of how teams really are on offense. You can say the same thing about Big XII and their defenses inflating the stats of the QBs.

And when taking into account both sides of the ball Bama is a better, more well rounded team than OSU. They can put up points and play amazing defense. They had a higher point differential than OSU.

I understand, I was just using that to state why I believe the Bama defense has such huge numbers and has not really been tested.

To me based on complete body of work OSU and Bama are even... OSU has the better wins, SOS, ect, Bama has the better loss. OSU has a great offense, Bama has a great defense...

Because of this, and the fact that OSU did win thier conference, and Bama has all ready played LSU I believe at worst the tie goes to OSU.

Now my personal opinion with football has always been QB play is the deciding factor. Due to that fact I do believe that OSU is the better team between the two. I understand people believing that Bama is the better team though.

My overall biggest issue is that if you take everything and switch the names of the conferences this year... the Big 12 being the SEC and visa versa I am 95% confident that We would not have two teams from the "Big 12" playing each other.

I'm interested to see more Lester in the second half. I've been an advocate of his for a couple months now and he had a great first half.

You being angry at your team for losing is supposed to show me how objective you are? What about all the times you've shown your bias? (this thread for instance) No..No I'm not buying it.
