NJPanthers insider info is that Chud willl be offered the job tomorrow or Thursday.

Let's see how that works out. It is a reasonable guess, but I think I will have to wait on a source that is a bit more trusted.

The Jacksonville Jaguars will hire Mike Mularkey as their next head coach, according to the Florida Times-Union. Mularkey has been the offensive coordinator of the Atlanta Falcons since 2008.

The report indicates that a major draw for the Jaguars was Mularkey’s ability to mold Matt Ryan into a top tier NFL quarterback. Jacksonvile started rookie Blaine Gabbert for most of the season at quarterback and they hope Mularkey can have the same success.

Mularkey, 50, was the head coach of the Buffalo Bills in 2004 and ’05, going 14-18.
