Well, looks like our QB is locked up long term and if it wasn't for Pickles and his team in 2010 things wouldn't be as bright now. Hope we get something out of him but if not we can say he led us in right direction. A second sure was a big price for a road sign tho.

he's not tradeable, nobody wants to take on his contract

his contract isnt one that will hold a franchise down for years to come, he's tradable, but his value isnt, you would be lucky to get a 6th or 7th round pick for him

To say Clausen has NO value is completely false. The OP said a 2nd( no way) a 5th would be the MOST, NOT LEAST that the Panthers could get...will it be that much? Who knows...worse trades have been made in NFL history.

Clausen got us the #1....with another QB spotting him a win. Clausen's pocket presense is much worse than Quinn's. Both are bad QBs...Clausen's last year didn't look better than Quinn early.

You might get a conditional 6th or 7th.....nothing more.

Clausen looked COMPLETELY lost in the games last season. He NEVER showed even the slightest ability or promise tht he was a legitimate NFL QB. Given that, no one would waste any pick to take another chance on this kid.

He is damaged goods.
