Send Clausen to either San Francisco or Philadelphia, like I said last year. Clausen would love to go out west, and Harbaugh and Reid think they are geniuses at grooming QBs so their egos would lead them to believe that they can turn Clausen into a serviceable back up QB, at least.

i will give you TWO teams who should look into Jimmy Clausen. 1) San Francisco-- Clausen is a Cali guy and he could go there and learn from a former QB in Harbaugh....2) Seattle--West team, Pete Carroll wanted him to go to USC, they have Golden Tate who played with Clausen at ND.

LoL u guys are silly. Didn't Seattle pay a King's ransom for Charlie Whitehurst? Jimmy with a solid pre-season would easily garner a 2nd round pick for a WCO team.

His only trade value is that he's young and he's a QB, I'd guess we might be able to get a 5th round pick for him.

Whitehurst was pretty much an unknown, he had no regular season attempts and played with 3rd strings in preseason. Clausen has an entire season of suck. Situations are just a tiny bit different
