It is possible that people outside of the Carolinas would like Cam a lot more if he did the prayer deal instead of the superman deal after he scores.

Something to think about.

I don't give a rat's a$$ if he does the Macarena after scoring as long as he scores.

Same here, but Cam is perceived in a negative light still, and The Golden Calf of Bristol has a lot of fans because of the person he is perceived to be.

You, me, and Carolina likes Cam, but a whole lot more people like The Golden Calf of Bristol.

Doubt it. Winning the Super Zbowl with a lousy quarterback's been done before.

Yes but has one been won with a good RB playing QB?

The Golden Calf of Bristol is probably more dangerous than a Dilfer since he can scramble and run the football.

I haven't seen that, honestly. The Golden Calf of Bristol's a big story right now because the Broncos have won games nobody thought they would. That, and people love underdogs.

From what I've seen, people that have an opinion about Newton generally have a positive one. Of those that don't, they tend to be fans of other NFL teams (or Alabama boosters).

That's what Warren Sapp called Donovan McNabb.

Got into his head so much when they played that McNabb passed up clear running opportunities to try and prove he was a passer. And in the end, the Eagles lost.

Sapp was pretty good with the mind games.
