So Tebow will be considered the "hero" of that game...

The most ironic part about this entire post is that you complain about Demaryius Thomas not getting credit but you don't even get his name right.

What does that have to do with anything? Spell his name without googling it. Tim is generic and The Golden Calf of Bristol is spelled how it sounds.

Sigh. It's the principle of the matter. You cry about Thomas not getting credit but didn't get his name right. You should have at least come close but the name was completely different.

Agree with this. You can't take anything away from Denver and especially The Golden Calf of Bristol this game. They beat the Steelers and the refs.

You don't throw for 300+ yards against the Steelers as a fluke.

QB always gets most of the credit.

Actually, for a QB who struggles to get 150yds against poor to mediocre defenses, that's pretty much the definition of fluke.

Guys. Just suck it up. Sure it was 15 yds but thats call that was made and The Golden Calf of Bristol threw what was called. The kid stepped up against the best d in the league and delivered.

Next.

You are right but I will give more credit to the defense for stopping

Ben. Even with his injured ankle Ben could have done some damage.

There is no principle in the matter. I don't give a poo how his name is spelled, folks make mistakes. Point is he deserves credit and I gave it to him.

And no one is 'crying'. It's not even that serious

Stop hating on the guy.

The guy won and they beat a good team.

Why do we have to be so jealous?

I don't get it either.

I'm one of the biggest critics of The Golden Calf of Bristol's quarterbacking skills that you'll find, but even I can admit when he throws a good pass. And on that last play - for once - he did.

He played well enough to win the game. And on a given Sunday, that's all you need. Lord knows we saw that plenty of times in our favor during the Delhomme years.

People need to get off this whole insecurity thing. It doesn't diminish Newton to admit when Andy Dalton, Blaine Gabbert, The Golden Calf of Bristol or (heaven help us) Andrew Luck play well. Just the opposite honestly. When we sit here trying to explain away their successes, we sound like a bunch of jealous five year olds playing "my daddy is bigger than your daddy" :nonod:

Geez guys :(

Other teams have good players too. So frigging what? :sosp:
