Julio Jones was worth it.

Yes, they couldn't manage to score on offense against the Giants.

But they beat us twice.

(I'll wait for the neg rep.)

They beat us twice but so did 10 other teams including such turds as the Vikings and Cardinals. The trade was still a staggeringly dumb thing to do and the Falcons get to deal with what are now even longer-neglected problems with OL and DL depth and have less resources with which to address them than ever.

Also neg rep jerkface

LOL comparing our Defense to the Giants this year is like comparing a Corvette to a Pinto. No its not a Porsche but its a hell of a lot better then that pinto.

next best thing to the panthers being successful is seeing a division rival fall flat on their face and get embarrassed.

knowing that we are massively on the upswing and that it's only getting better form here makes it even more better.

Should I start a remember when thread for the time I got blasted saying Ryan wasn't even close to an elite QB yet all you Panther "fans" said he was clearly elite and that's the only way to win championships, have elite QBs like Matt Ryan?

Naw, I don't think I'm gonna do that. I'm going to enjoy this moment with you.

Congratulations, you were finally right about something. Throw enough poo on the wall and eventually some of it sticks...

This just in... Falcon's DC, Brian Van Gorder, leaves the Falcons to accept the DC job at Auburn. Sounds like one of those "mutual parting of ways" more than anything, but considering the lemons he had to work with on that side of the ball the last few years, he made pretty solid lemonade with them, so I don't know why they'd be eager to rid themselves of him. Maybe he just decided he preferred the college game?

Atlanta Falcons- NFL team since 1965

11 Playoff Appearances, 6 Playoff Wins, 2 Conference Championship Games, 1 SB, No Titles

Carolina Panthers- NFL team since 1995

4 Playoff Appearances, 6 Playoff Wins, 2 Conference Championship Games, 1 SB, No Titles

Will never be happy as a Panthers fan until we win a Super Bowl, but it astounds me Falcons fans would troll this board given their sorry history.

The Panthers literally have accomplished everything the Falcons have in 30 less years.

Literally no one thought Matt Ryan was elite. And Fiz was saying that before you or anyone else was.

Ryan is not elite. Thank God. He plays on a Sprinter's track indoors and has two big, fast, and strong receivers as well as a HOF TE and a top ten bruiser who moves the chains out of the backfield.

He's accurate enough to dominate any team that does not have a pass rush, which in his division is two of them. Us and TB.

I don't expect he tards in Hotlanta to understand that but I hoped we had a few objective guys around here at least.

I liked watching him fail in the playoffs too. But he is gonna be in our wild card spot for as long as we cannot put him on his back and take it back. Same goes for Brees who actually is elite and therefore leading the division.

When asked about Carolina's need for more receivers heading into the offseason, Morgan kind of brushed it off. “We’re just going to look to add really good football players,” Morgan said, via Joe Person of The Athletic. “It’s not going to be specific to any position or need.”...
    • Former Panthers WR has been massive bust for Cowboys https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/news/former-carolina-panthers-jonathan-mingo-massive-bust-dallas-cowboys "...Then, midway through 2024, the Panthers decided to send Mingo to the Dallas Cowboys before the trade deadline, receiving a fourth-round draft pick in return (Carolina also sent a seventh-rounder the Cowboys' way). This has turned out to be an outstanding deal for the Panthers thus far, as Mingo totaled a mere five catches for 46 yards in eight games with Dallas this year. He made good on just 31.3 percent of his targets, and between Carolina and the Cowboys overall in 2024, he amassed 12 grabs for 121 yards..."
