Braylon Edwards to the Panthers???

Recommended Posts

Maybe not Edwards but if we really had another wide reciever threat - I'm sure that would had lessen the load on Delhomme throwing the ball. Point being is that, he looks to Steve for a reason and that's because when it comes down to it - we don't have anybody else.

Who was Steve Smith- Who was Chad Johnson- Who was Tory Holt- Who was Marvin Harrison...

No one, until they got their chance.

Great WR's are born every season, we could find our next Steve Smith any time in Jarrett, Carter or Robinson.

I am sure we will add some more WR's this offseason, be patient. :D

Hey I sucked it up long time ago. But that one team that you're saying - there's reason why some teams get there more often than others. i.e Patriots, 49'ers, Cowboys, and now Pittsburgh. It's not just luck.

We can't take this "Shi-t happens mentality" because if we do, I'm sure we won't never be a consistent team like those listed above in their times of reign.

The teams that win consistently like the Steelers and Patriots do so because they DON'T panic and flip their roster upside down after every loss.

The offensive play calling lost that game. If we had continued to run the ball, like we did all year, it might have had a different out come. But it's over and another receiver won't help that much next year. The key to success next year will be runrunrunrunrunrunrunthe ball!!

Sounds good of a plan. But I fail to see that Arizona game is just one game that happened wrongly for us. The fact is - as much as I want to say we will produce numbers next year running the ball, it's not going to be the same success as we had this past year. Other teams will game plan around that and will be better at stopping our running game or at least controlling it. We need that plan B on offense.

Ahhh yes.. this too. I think a lot of that had to do with the fact that Arizona scored on 5 straight possessions though. I still think they made a mistake in abandoning the run, but had our defense played better they probably wouldn't have felt the need to do so.

Yeah I said earlier - we will see with our project recievers. And trust me, since our last Superbowl run, I've been patient.

Yea and Carolina doesn't have much of a defense to offer lol.. so it kinda kills your ground game's efforts in the long run with having no D to back em up.

Ahhh look at my team have a monumental collapse at the end of the season, culminated by missing the playoffs by losing to the Raiders. Look at us lose our head coach, DC, starting QB, pro bowl LBer and miss out on every single decent FA we go after. Look as my team goes into full rebuild mode and has the worst offseason ever. I know what I'll do. I'll go on the Panthers board and talk smack about their 12-4 team that is bringing back every starter minus one, in some vein attempt to distract me from the pathetic excuse of a team I'll be forced to watch next year.

Sum things up so far?

We are talking about the Panthers here, so why you trying to bring the Bucs into this now?.. Anyway, 12-4 doesn't mean a whole lot when you have one of the most embarassing performances by a QB in the post season if not the worst in NFL history, and you abandon the run... which was your bread and butter all season.

This topic has turned into what you guys need to do to shore your team up, need to get that fixed before you worry about anyone else... Especially with how your secondary played the 2nd half of the year.

"12-4 doesn't mean a whole lot" is just something that people say when their team misses the playoffs by losing to the Raiders in week 17.

This topic is about Edwards, and to a lesser extent a debate on if we need to add WRs to our roster at all. It's not an open forum for ignorant Bucs fan to take shots at the defense or QB from a team that is miles ahead of where you guys are right now. In short, F--- OFF
