Braylon Edwards to the Panthers???

revamp the WR position??/

WTF are you talking about, we basically had our two starting WR's BOTH post over 1000yrds while we ran the ball for 2500 Yrds

you're crazy.

Then how come we didn't win on offense? Why did we lose to a so-call sorry team that made the playoffs in the weakest NFC West division? With two starting WR's with post 1000 yrds, why did Delhomme throw so many picks? Tell me. Stats are for losers, I'm sorry.

I'm sorry guys but it really bothers me when we get lost in portions of our game that succeeded last year and forget the reasons why we lost that one game that really matters. With the strength of our schedule coming up, we better think fast.

see my; "2004=2009" thread.

edwards wouldn't have done anything to help in that game.

Maybe not Edwards but if we really had another wide reciever threat - I'm sure that would had lessen the load on Delhomme throwing the ball. Point being is that, he looks to Steve for a reason and that's because when it comes down to it - we don't have anybody else.

Our offense is pretty much set for '09 minus adding some backup OLine. We lost that playoff game because....

#1: Trgovac's defensive scheme looked like something he copied off Tecmo Bowl.

#2: Fitz made Lucas his bitch so many times his wife was getting jealous.

#3: Jake's bionic elbow more closely resembled tapioca pudding at this stage in the season.

Trgo and Lucas are gone. Jake for the first time has a full offseason to rest his elbow and will do fine in '09 (STFU all you haters) Don't worry dude, we'll be fine. No reason to panic and start revamping our roster.

Hey I sucked it up long time ago. But that one team that you're saying - there's reason why some teams get there more often than others. i.e Patriots, 49'ers, Cowboys, and now Pittsburgh. It's not just luck.

We can't take this "Shi-t happens mentality" because if we do, I'm sure we won't never be a consistent team like those listed above in their times of reign.

Ah yes. A WR who yearns for the bright lights and big city ends up in Charlotte playing on a run happy team. Hilarity ensues.

Edwards and Chris Gamble have had a verbal spat or two in the media (stems back to their days facing each other at Michigan and Ohio State). That could add to the amusement.

The only Browns I'd be interested in giving up anything for would be Shaun Rogers or Josh Cribbs.

The offensive play calling lost that game. If we had continued to run the ball, like we did all year, it might have had a different out come. But it's over and another receiver won't help that much next year. The key to success next year will be runrunrunrunrunrunrunthe ball!!

Well I never said defense wasn't a priority. But I just don't want people to be dumb-found if we look to the draft for a wide reciever or a veteran reciever after the Pepper trade is done. That is all.
