I didnt get to watch brockers alot this year and what i have seen isn't that impressive. Maybe I just havent seen his talent displayed but it seems like Devon still looked alot better.

I thought the same thing after just watching one of his videos, but after rewatching it a few times and seeing a couple other videos I think he's going to be a dominant NFL DT.

Yeah but I trust the majority that like him bc they have seen more out of him than I have any there has to be reasons why he's highly rated and do liked thought this forum

His highlight tape does not do him any justice.go watch any full games or other players highlights and all you see flashing is #90.

Didn't want to start a whole new thread on Brockers, but here's just some stuff I managed to gather on him. I went to an LSU forum asking for a fans perspective on him and here's what I came away with..

TigerSportsDigest.com

I think Brockers is going to be a great pickup for someone. He was a force inside for us and I hated to see him leave but I think he plays pretty soon in the NFL as a starter.

He will be able to take on 2 blockers always and if he is one on one he will get penatration up the middle! He has a very good first step and good technique. I see him being a force and starting early in the NFL on any team he is on. He is 300lbs but very little fat on him! He will have a great career in a 4-3 defense

He definitely could have improved his game had he stayed another year, but he couldnt have done much to improve his draft stock. He's one of only 2 or 3 DT worthy of a 1st round grade. His upside is tremendous. He has Haynesworth-like tools/ability. If he takes a hard working, focused approach to the game, he'll be dominant.

Watch his diving, one-handed interception against Northwestern State. Unreal..

And here that is for the lazies, skip to the 1:00

I think the ability is clearly there...its just about it translating and that's something that our FO will find out through this process. They saw it in Cam last year so if they see something similar (intangibles and passion wise) in Brockers we'll pick him no doubt over the rest available.

For me right now, its between Brockers, Jenkins, & Cox with Brockers now in the lead after some further review.

thanks for finding that interception. i had found it before but couldn't find it again. crap...i may have even posted it before.

good find and good work.

it's good to also look at what his coaches and teammates said. i have that posted somewhere else as well. search function doesn't work for me so maybe someone could find it?
