Superbowl Prediction

Ravens vs. Saints

I see things shaking up like this in the AFC. Steelers cruise past the Broncos, basically resting Roethlisberger. They could win with Charlie Batch at QB and with Mendenhall out. Houston takes care of the Bengals at home in another close game between those two. Houston goes to Baltimore and gets their clock cleaned. Steelers beat New England with running and big plays by Mike Wallace because the Pats D sucks. The trends have been, the Steelers play great in January, and Brady has been faltering come playoff time ever since his Superbowl win against the Eagles. Steelers/Ravens rematch in the AFC Championship, but with the Ravens at home this time, they pull it out in a nail biter. Big defensive stand at the end. Injured Roethlisberger can't come up big this time.

I think the Saints are going to pull it out at Lambeau in the NFC Championship. They will destroy the Lions in the dome, and pull out a closer-than-the-score-indicates one in San Fran. They could run the ball 0 times and still beat the 49ers. Their D will easily shut down Alex Smith and Frank Gore. Falcons/Giants is a "who cares who wins" matchup because the winner ends up playing the Packers and I can't see either of those teams beating them. I see the Falcons winning and even though they are out for revenge after what the Packers did to them last year, they can't pull it off. Not enough firepower on offense and not enough D. Saints face the Packers at Lambeau for the NFC Championship and I see Brees having the game of his life. Packers pass-D gives up a ton of yards and Brees lights them up. Rodgers does his best to win in a shootout but in the end it comes down to the Saints D making a big stop at the end of the game for the win.

Saints win the Superbowl. I could see the Giants getting hot again, and maybe beating the Packers if they make it past the first round (they did play them extremely close but the game was at home). But either way I see the Saints winning the NFC. They are hot at the right time and that matters more than anything come playoff time.

I would love to see the Ravens make it to the SB. However, I just don't think they can do it with Flacco under center. Guy is majorly over-rated and not a clutch QB. Defense has been suspect at times this year.

Hate to say it, but I think the Pats will get there due to their offense.

Toss up with GB and Saints....will take GB because they have home field adv.

I agree. Flacco is a choker.

Totally agree on the ravens point, as well as, the green bay saints game

i really hope the falcons don't win, that'd make the panthers the only team in the nfc south without a ring...ugghh

if the saints win they'll have more wins this year than the panthers have had in the last 3 seasons combined....ughhhh

i'll be pulling for the ravens, my usual 2nd favorite team
