Why is Mike Mamula on there? Granted he didn't deserve to be drafted as high as he was and he tricked everyone into thinking he was better than he was by doing amazing at the combine, but he had an alright career. Everyone else on there had terrible careers but at least he contributed?

I think you're right, it's pretty much the "workout warrior" moniker I think. His training coach for the combine only worked on the tryout drills, so he wowed them. Then Warren Sapp had a pot conviction just before the drills and Philly decided to trade with the Bucs to take him. The Bucs then took Warren Sapp and Derrick Brooks, two possible HOF players while Philly got stuck with a player that never reached his potential. Still a contention today that players only train at the combine tests and may "falsify" evaluations that way. It's a theory that even Yas has expounded upon...
