I have a cat problem

There's a cat that's been at my back door for a couple hours now that's definitely in heat. I don't think it's a stray as it looks pretty well fed and healthy(but no collar). The thing is rubbing all over the stairs and won't go away. Every time I go to have a smoke it's trying to get inside and it's a fast little fuger. WW3 would break loose with my cat and dog if it got in.

How do I get rid of it?

Is your cat fixed?

My cat's a female, but yes spayed. She would probably fug up that cat if she got in. My cat is a fat, lazy slob but she's not afraid to throw her weight around. She's taken on a 50lb dog she can handle a 5lb cat.

We had a real cat problem in the last neighborhood we lived in. Must have been a dozen "outdoor" cats. Not feral, just pets that were allowed to roam. Tried spraying them with the hose, vinegar solution in super soakers, pots of ice water, fox urine around the house, pounds of cayenne pepper in the flower beds, you name it we tried everything.

Solved it with a have-a-heart trap and some creativity.

We would catch cats and then do things like put paper tags on them with notes like:

"If I catch this cat again you'll never see it again"

"You have no idea what I did to this animal"

"Free range python food"

Or we would dye their fur bright green with some pet safe fur dye my wife bought.

We never hurt them or mistreated them beyond the trapping. My wife is an avid cat lover and likely treated them as well as their owners did.

After a few weeks of our catch and release program we didn't have a problem with cats.

That's awesome. I would do the water trick if it wasn't so damn cold. That cat would be dead in 10 minutes

      They reached for Pickett, so they are not immune to it.  I could see that as well.  I just think the Colts are flying under the radar and they have been too quiet concerning their QB situation--of course, they could think Jones is their guy (they had a good one named Jones a long time ago) but I think they are done with the Richardson experiment.   Even if I believed in Jones, I would still draft a QB--I also read one mock that said the Jets would take Sanders if he falls to 7---I disagree, but I was once wrong and it still bothers me.

      I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
