I agree with the idea of getting a CB in the draft. There's a lot of talent in their even beyond the first in Hosley, Jenkins, Minnifield, etc beyond Kirkpatrick, Dennard, & Claiborne.

He'll, maybe we'll wind up with 2 CBs early in the draft

might be overkill. i'd be more than happy with one. two is pushing it, imo.

i'd rather us spread the wealth around to different positions.

my dream scenario has us trading w/ bengals for both their first rounders and using the twwo firsts and our second to address CB, OLB, and then one of DT/OL/FS.

I believe the best strategy going into the draft, is having less needs as possible. We have needs at CB, FS, DT, LB, OT. Let's solve at least three of those needs with free agency.

If we can somehow rip Terrell Thomas from New York, I would ease off corner as a need going into the draft. Reggie Neslon would be great. (Take off FS) These are two players that instantly make our secondary great. (Think about what Daniel Manning and Jonathan Joseph did for the Texans)

I agree with the Texan-esque strategy for this offseason. Commit to creating a defense with young aspiring talent (rounds 1 & 2) and go after guys you know are major upgrades to the current product in the secondary.

(Rocky McIntosh)-guy needs a change of scenery/system or he is on the decline! We will find out as he has huge potential to fill a need or he could bounce. Either way, he comes cheap

(Antonio Garay)-Ron Edwards will be his insurance policy and both can give Fua time to develop........or Shirley if Ron feels let down by Fua.

(Jason Jones)-adds options to our line due to lining up at UT and DE. Very solid pass rusher

FS will be addressed in the draft
