As a ND fan Floyd is the best WR Prospect since T.Brown, Only negatives against him are off field issues and needs to work on his route running, he tends to drag off routes,but is still 10X better than G.Tate was coming out of college. I compare him to a Stronger M.Colston

Jeffery's is a slightly faster Seattle M.Williams, kid needs to cut out the Twinkies, and is a Late 1Rd early 2RD pick

btw...I don't want to be labeled a racist because I'm comparing Alshon Jeffery to Dwayne Jarrett. It just happens to be the clearest example of a big receiver not able to get off press coverage and no top end speed that we've experienced here with the Panthers.

Floyd had off the field issues, but Notre Dame must've seen something in the kid considering their student policies and NOT kicking him off the team. Floyd must have shown he was contrite and willing to keep his nose clean for his senior year. I may be wrong, but that's what the outsider view tells me.

Wouldn't mind seeing Alshon go to the Bengals and giving Dalton yet another target. Him and Green would be a monster combination for years to come.

No...I'm saying if people choose to think you are a racist they probably don't have to use your comparison to make their case. BTW I agree with the Jarret comparison but I'd go more Mike Williams from USC

What comparison should they use.

I simply said the qualifier in this thread as to KT-qualify the comparison or any comparison negatively of a draft prospect to a current failed NFL player.

as for me...people can attempt to make any comparison they choose. It couldn't be further from the truth. Despite my attempt to poke fun at one thread taken negatively...the intent wasn't there with no way to defend myself. Which is fine...I understand why people took it the wrong way, but if it was that offensive, the thread should have been removed. It wasn't.

If you don't know his name then you deserve no credibility. His name is not Jefferys, Jefferies, or Jeffries.

As for Blackmon, the guy is a product of the system and I would take Sanu over him any day of the week.

As for Alshon Jeffery, no he is not fast. That's not his game. I don't want him in Carolina because his game and Lafell's game are similar. Alshon is a better receiving threat but Lafell is a better blocker.

However, regarding his speed, he beat Alfonzo Dennard, the 25th ranked prospect, over and over. He had 148 yards in 2 1/2 quarters on Dennard and easily could have had over 200 yards had he not lost a ball in the sun in the first quarter when he had Dennard beat by 3 steps.

Then, just because it was brought up, I can guarantee that Melvin Ingram will blow up after the Combine. He is far and away the best athlete on the team.
