Alshon Jeffery

No way he falls to the 2nd. He may seem like a reach right now but I am not sold on anyone else that would be of value to us at the 8th/9th. I want a starter with our 1st and am not convinced the 2nd best cb, Tackle, or any defensive lineman in the entire draft have a better chance at becoming a starter day one. I think corner is currently our biggest need but I just don't see Kirkpatrick as bring worthy, and none of the tackles outside of Kalil seem like a blue chip prospect either at this point. Obvously as the front office starts the processes all of this can change but as of right this second I'm liking Jeffrey but won't be heartbroken if Wr fall in love with a corner, tackle or defensive lineman.

Yes, most likely he will. He's ranked 5th overall at WR behind Blackmon, Floyd, Wright and Sanu. Overall he's in the 40's ranking wise.

Well since 3 of those wont be available when the Panthers make their pick i don't see the point in your post.

My point is he isn't close to the freak that Julio Jones is.... -_-

Jeffery is good but he he needs a lot of work to be better.

Said it before...we already have two top notch TE's on this team

They are good, but as a whole our receiving core as a whole is inferior to N.O 's and ATL'S. Jimmy Graham and Gonzales are better than Olsen or Shockey. Smitty is getting up there in age and now would not be a bad time to add a young playmaker the position. I'm not comfortable with Olsen, Lafell, and Gettis if Smith gets hurt.
