Bears ST coach Dave Toub

Is he that good or was it more of having a returner like Hester?

Hester certainly helps, but Toub's schemes for blocking and trickery are phenomenal. Remember the punt return trickery from the 1st Bears-Packers game where Hester acted like he was catching the punt to 1 side with all of the blockers moving that way while Knox fielded it on the other side and took it to the house (nullified by a garbage holding call)? That was pure genius.

edwards had a chance this year to show some worth. it was nominal. there really isn't a need for him. i think he has talent, but you have to invent jobs for him. he's got no true role. he isn't suited as a returner.

just not worth the roster spot, imo.

yeah, that play was pretty amazing. also, the return game without hester has done very well. not as good as hester obviously but still very good. i'd definitely give come credit to coaching there

lol at some of you morons "Durrr it's not the coach it's the players Hurrr"

The Bears could stick our shitty players on that Special Teams unit as still be possibly middle of the pack in rankings.

If he's out there, Hurney can make amends for his recent stint of shitty hirings and grab this guy.

He's definitely worth it.

When asked about Carolina's need for more receivers heading into the offseason, Morgan kind of brushed it off. “We’re just going to look to add really good football players,” Morgan said, via Joe Person of The Athletic. “It’s not going to be specific to any position or need.”...
    • Former Panthers WR has been massive bust for Cowboys https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/news/former-carolina-panthers-jonathan-mingo-massive-bust-dallas-cowboys "...Then, midway through 2024, the Panthers decided to send Mingo to the Dallas Cowboys before the trade deadline, receiving a fourth-round draft pick in return (Carolina also sent a seventh-rounder the Cowboys' way). This has turned out to be an outstanding deal for the Panthers thus far, as Mingo totaled a mere five catches for 46 yards in eight games with Dallas this year. He made good on just 31.3 percent of his targets, and between Carolina and the Cowboys overall in 2024, he amassed 12 grabs for 121 yards..."
