We need a skyscraper receiver for a change. 6'4" or 6'5" can run a solid route and most importantly...catch. Doesn't need speed, just give Cam a lob threat. Tired of these micro machines. Steve Smith's don't grow on trees.

what micromachines are you talking about?

Gettis who is 6'3?

LaFell who is 6'2?

Naanee who is 6'2?

The only starting receiver below 6'2 is Smitty, who is his own version of Megatron.

I mean, you are splitting hairs at that point...

You guys have no clue... Jets wasting Holmes talent... Look at his damn stats for the season... 50 rec as #1 WR? 16 Rec in last 6 games... And its not because he's covered or he drops the ball... Its because Sanchez refuses to throw it to him. He quit a game against Miami because Sanchez did not look his way a single time... Emotions got to him, dude lost it against Miami, he had enough... Remember Smitty last year when Clausen was starting? Here... I'll refresh your memory.

I'll be shocked to see him start ahead of Smitty, LaFell, and Gettis.. I'm not familiar if his route running has improved at all... If his route running is subpar, he may even have trouble beating out Naanee.. then again, his speed may help spread the field but route running is key.

if we DID get Ted Ginn Jr. he would likely be the 3rd/4th WR and he would do more punt and kick returning. trust me, i do NOT think he will be here to beat out Smith or LaFell or Gettis, i think though he's worth a look as a 4th WR and return man.

Mark Sanchez or Cam Newton?

this is easy. Newton
