Jaguars are now interviewing/contacting...

Broncos OC Mike McCoy

Patriots OC Bill O'Brien

Panthers OC Rob Chudzinski

Jets OC Brian Schottenheimer

Falcons OC Mike Mularkey

I was just about to post this. Seeing the list of names grow has made me calm down a bit. The more the names they have/add to their list, the better. They are clearly looking for a young/up and coming OC to be their new HC. I like that the Patriot's OC is involved in there. I know Penn State wants to recruit him, but I hope he avoids that and the Jags pick another apple off the Belichick tree. As for Mike McCoy, I wonder how many Bronco fans are freaking out about losing him, like us for Chud?

how come nobody never picks up Greenbays OC? Hell Rodgers is playing crazy good. BS

From the Packers website regarding OC Joe Philbin:

In his four seasons at the offensive helm, Philbin has directed both a productive and sound unit. The team’s 1,703 points from 2007-10 were the most in franchise history over a four-year period, while the 83 turnovers were the fewest in a four-year span. The Packers’ 83 giveaways since ’07 rank No. 1 in the NFC and No. 2 in the NFL behind only New England.

League-wide, the offense has ranked in the top 10 in total yards and total points each year, one of only two teams in the league (New England) to accomplish that feat during that period. Green Bay’s point total is fourth in the league over that span, trailing only New England (1,944), San Diego (1,746) and New Orleans (1,736).

This sh!t just isn't fair.

New owner, lots of bucks, top 5 draft pick to get a top QB or rehab Gabbert, top 10 defense. Honestly that job is better on the surface from the one Rivera took when he came here. The biggest issues are that with a new owner you don't know what he is going to be like and they really struggle to fill the seats.

The Jags tight ends and receivers are horrible, Gabbert is not nearly as confident or passionate as Newton and lets not get into the physical abilities. As far as a financial point of view of the situation I can see why he would go there. I'm hoping he pulls off a Matt Barkley and feels like he has unfinished business here.

I just don't get it, we gave up a third round draft pick for Olsen for and did not make the playoffs and he could possibly leave after one year!?!

Atleast when Del Rio left it was after a Super Bowl run.

2 things here:

Olsen signed a 5 year deal after the trade.

Del Rio left after the 2002 season, one year before the Super Bowl run.

Jesus fug - you think maybe they want to gear their team towards the offensive side of the ball? Maybe it's just me...

Damn, you're right bout the Del Rio situation I always keep thinking it was after the Super Bowl for some reason.

I will try to be as optimistic as possible about this situation and I think Richardson should definitely give Chudzinski a raise, so that if Rivera defense does not pick up then Chudzinski gets promoted to Head Coach.
