A team has asked permission to interview Chud.

I have a feeling Mularkey gets the job. Either him or Schottenheimer because of experience. Chud is the least experienced on that list and has the least impressive record TBH.

Also it would be fuging awesome for the Falcons to lose the only good coach they have.

i actually hope that mularkey stays in atl. he keeps that offense rather ordinary.

2 things here:

Olsen signed a 5 year deal after the trade.

Del Rio left after the 2002 season, one year before the Super Bowl run.

Exactly.

It is rather comical how many people that call themselves Panther fans still believe that Del Rio was DC for the SB run.

Miami. It isn't even close.

I'm curious as to why you say Miami. Help me out on your reasoning.

On the surface:

St. Louis - Great draft position, young and talented QB, lots of cap room, good ownership.

Tampa - Young and talented QB, lots of cap room, questionable ownership

Miami - QB?, ownership?

Miami has a top 5 defense (after their terrible start), an explosive runner in the backfield with fresh legs, one of the games best WRs, the games best LT and a chance to add another playmaker in the draft.

Miami would absolutely smash St Louis and Tampa and it wouldn't be close.

I don't see Chud going to a team with an established QB, unless the QB has a similar skill set to Cam. A lot of the success here was from offensive players that fit what he wanted to do to a T. Granted he'd be the HC not the OC, but I would think he'd want an OC that fit his style at least to some degree.

Miami has pieces in place. Their trenches are solidified. They need some defensive playmakers, and a new coach may want a new QB much to mav's chagrin. Beyond that, that team finished the year the same way we did. On the upswing. Ownership is certainly better than TB.

I could go on.

Joe Thomas would like a word with you.

Miami is a good destination though, but they will not want Chud(not sure if that's what you're getting at, did not read thread). They're getting a big name.

Joe Thomas can have as many words with me as he wants.

Not talking about who wants Chud, just responding to some donk saying St Louis and Tampa are better available jobs than Miami.

Chud doesn't need a Cam. He needs a QB w/ an arm to throw the deep vertical (and one w/ the willingness to stay in the pocket).

Chud will adapt to his QB and he is showing that w/ Cam (not all OCs embrace that.....Martz for example you have to pull teeth).
