Kirkpatrick vs Morris

The reason people are talking about Kirkpatrick at this spot is because he'll have the best skillset, couple along with the size, at that spot. If Claiborne is available at that spot you take him in a heartbeat, but something went wrong if he manages to fall all the way to the Panthers.

If they're picking at 9, I'd say Kirkpatrick, but I'd still rather trade down. The CB pool is one of, if not the, deepest this draft.

some of it is also that besides interior line, no.2 corner is the biggest need for the panthers this offseason

trading down would be the best thing to do.. i read a bunch of people are thinking we trade our 8 for the bengals 18 and 23rd picks but im not sure the bengals would want to do that. would be good for both sides though. we really need 2 first round picks, and 2 2nd round picks..

and third round..get a kicker.. hell even 4th round would be better than mare. lol

Where'd you read that? I couldn't imagine anything the bengals would want at our position. They obviously need to give the ginger more weapons, and both Blackmon & Richardson will probably be gone at that position.

Jeffery, Floyd, & Wright, although nice receivers, aren't really worth giving up two firsts for. Just ask the Falcons how that turned out.

If CB is a deep position in the draft (and I agree with you that it is), why would you reach for a CB at the 8th or 9th spot?

Look at the draft prospects. There are NO DLineman worth taking with the 8th pick. CB is the only sensible way to go. We can get DTs thru Free Agency, like Ron Edwards, who will be back next year

Thats not the point. We dont have guys that can PASS RUSH. You can stock pile all the linemen you want it doesnt mean your gonna get to Drew Brees.

read through some of the mock drafts online.. ive read it in a couple places.

absolutely. We need somebody that can man handle the other line.. and to be honest, we need one of those on both sides of the ball. We have some talent now though. maybe we can one day get to the point where they patriots are of having 2 picks in every round it seems lol

Why trade picks for Edwards?

You don't question the stupid poo the FO does. Well, you do, but we'll never know why they do stupid poo. I'd rather them trade down, but if they're dead set on picking at 9 (I wouldn't put it past them), I'd rather they go for Kirkpatrick.

I was just giving a what-if to both sides.
