With our offense and an offseason for Cam and the return of Gettis the offense will be scary. We don't need an elite defense to compete, just one that can make enough stops to give Cam and the offense a fighting chance. Get Beason back, go corner in the first and defensive tackle in the 2nd, or visa versa, add a couple of free agents and I think the defense is at a level where we can compete for a playoff spot.

I think it's a lot further than most on here want to admit actually. We still need 2 starting caliber tackles, a starting corner, a starting linebacker and a starting free safety. That doesn't even address any depth issues.

To the hottest team in the NFL right now! We are better than the final score indicated as is the Falcons. We had a meltdown and need to grow from it! But the defense def needs some upgrading and current players need to get stronger, faster, and SMARTER

that's what we'll be looking at, hoping some no-name guy we sign for the bare minimum comes in and helps turn the D around. if you're expecting them to sign some highly touted established impact free agent then be prepared to be disappointed
