Cam's Emotions/Body Language Redux

Well, that has been the attitude throughout the season. These ego-dirven fools cannot be wrong. They have all eyes on Cam because he's embarrassing them. They say who we are to worship and hate.

Anyone in media who acts like an NFL team is all offense, one person on offense, and nothing else (e.g., Skip Bayless) is a dumb@ss not worth listening to. The fact that they can't see anything but the offensive side of the ball makes me want someone to kick their teeth in for the damage they're doing to the intellect of the average fan.

I guess they expected the Panthers to score 48 OR MORE points again today just to have a chance of beating the Saints, instead of criticizing their defense for playing WIDE-EYED all day.

I don't think anybody questioning Newton's leadership skills. We've seen evidence of it this season. Despite his frustrations, I'm sure he'll have a "C" on his jersey next season.

This team isn't questioning his leadership but that is one of the many things that was being questioned about him during the draft. As matter of fact, I really don't think there was anything about Cam not criticized...SMDH

Surprised someone didn't have a problem with him growing his hair..SMDH

What I saw was a very talented QB...with a maturity problem, could he be the next Vince Young...not saying he will be but he folded grabbed his ball and went home,,,5'10 Brees isn't gonna do that.......plus he apparently doesn't like getting hit. He is typical athlete coddled since birth.....discuss ?

Yeah, he proved all the critics wrong on that one. As I said before, all this criticizing has been fuel for the fire to his success and he'll just keep improving.

They are not really criticizing the offense. They are criticizing Cam. From what I heard today, they only feel the offense needs another WR to help out Smitty.

And incomplete constrast to how Cam is being treated is how they are making excuses for The Golden Calf of Bristol only being able to make two throws since the game started...SMDH

The "gods of our media" is dictating how we are to feel about these QBs. Sadly, with some, it helps to hide their hidden baises.

Yeah, I know..that is why they decided to find something else to scrutinize...His demeanor. Like who really sit there and analyze a person during a heated game and decides to start a thread like this if not doing with pure baises.

Even I found it funny when Tom Brady got chewed out by the coordinator for blaming the receiver for his int when it was his fault. I wonder how many threads would have been started scolding Cam if he had done that...

Something is truly wrong, IMO.

You seriously need your eyes checked.

And what makes it so bad is, Tom Brady was chewed out by one of the coaches on tv and did anyone question his leadership skills...Nope.

But we all know why Cam is being with that "we need to keep an eye on you boy" treatment.

Well Tom Brady is proven in the NFL and he’s a media darling. I don’t think we can compare a rookie QB being standoffish and a super bowl winning QB ..Cam is only 22 so I expect him to grow and mature but I don’t its anything wrong in saying he could handle himself better at times on the sideline.

Yeah, Cam's demeanor today was the same as flicking everyone off, throwing your helmet/pads into the crowd and tell the coach to go f**k himself in front of the whole team.

    • Meh I get the intent but signing the OGs at the highest price and coming out with a historically bad D isn't something other teams should do. The Bears took a better route. Older guys but cheaper. Only negative I got there is that they still need to take an OG this year but that 4th is 2026 so it really should be hard for them to make a solid swing before it's a gapping hole again.
    • The coach of the Chicago Bears just referenced the turnaround of the Panthers once they invested in guards.  He then has just signed 2 high profile guards.  How is that not copying the Panthers?  I agree that there is not a lot to copy here, but step back.  We lost Darnold before investing in the OL.  We lost Baker before investing in the OL.  We drafted Bryce before successfully investing in the OL.  We invest in 2 guards.  After a slow start, Bryce ends the season 4-5 and is very close to both Philly and New England.  Later, the new coach of the Bears references the Panthers and how they turned it around after signing high profile guards.  A week or two later, they announce they signed 2 high profile guards.  I think all GMs paid attention to what has happened here.  It may not be the sole basis for their decision, but the defense cost us 2024, not the offense.  In addition, we did it without our #1 WR, a top TE, and the cupboards were pretty bare at WR.  I think they noticed.  As you say, Frank, we shall see.
    • I was about to say he put up a damn near 40 inch vertical and a 10'3 broad jump, even if he only runs in the 4.6 range the guy belongs in the NFL, not sure he will ever be an elite back but he definitely can contribute
