I kind of agree. He has a little Donovan McNabb in him when things aren't going right. He need to stop with the sulking.

And I'm sure McNabb is not the only QB known to have been known to sulk but I guess you choose him because it helped strenghen your opinion about what someone "heard about Cam's behavior?" Is that why you choose McNabb over say, Peyton, Tom Brady, Cutler, and many others?

I guess it's only those who point out the obvious superiority complex in others, who are perceived as "racists." Those who continue to blindly push their twisted concerns over everything Cam does is just doing their duty as American citizens by making sure he doesn't polute the perfect image of a QB.

In my time, I've seen QBs spit and throw things in disgust when their team were playing bad but Cam's pouting really bothers you..hmmmm

Honestly, it's thread like these that make some folks wonder if some of the energy directed at Cam isn't racially bais. I have never seen a kid being so scrutinized over every dumb ish. I mean where do we draw the line and say, enough is enough. From this kid's game play; to his body language; to the way he speaks; to how he speaks; to what he should and shouldn't say is, constantly being scrutinized, and criticized.

Just a reminder, racism isn't about dislike a person because of their skin color. It really isn't that shallow. It's the constant need for one race of people to always feel the need to elevate themselves or their own over the other races by any means possible to continually feel good about themselves. You know, that superiority complex.

So yes, judging by some of the threads on this site on Cam, one can be left wondering if some folks aren't struggling with that superiority complex when it comes to Cam. Especially, since he's playing in a position that symbolizes power or superiority over the other players.

Plus, many have form a level of comfortablity in scrutinizing Cam since the media made has made it politically correct to do so when it comes certain players like Sanchez, Romo, Culter and others. But, it's clear some feel the need to project their biases in a subtle way whereever they can.

When it's all said and done, to want the coach to put his foot up Cam's ass for doing what many of the other QBs have done does comes across very sickening. Something tells me if he was smiling after a lose, there would be those who would start threads faking concerns about his attitude there also and questioning his leadership skills.

Anyway, when it's all said and done, some of you who love to start these types of threads for the sake of gaining attention, really need to get a life and get off Cam's you know what.

Its actually an inferiority complex, needing all your heroes to be the same race as you to relate or instinctively needing to feel in a position of authority over those who aint. There are a lot of people who claim to be Panther fans who have this inferiority complex. The sad thing is, when they act this way it makes us all look bad, we're all embarassed by this behavior.

I agree, but weren't you equally as angry that the Panthers' QB was white? I recall many posts about how that frustrated you and how we needed more black players. Isn't that the same kind of mind-set?

Cam Newton had the best rookie season of ANYONE...EVER...in the NFL. His best is yet to come, and I for one am glad that this tiny little issue is what has 3,000+ views on this message board. I'd rather it be this than "Oh god Cam was a bust."

I never complained about the Panthers QBs being white, I complained they suck and we shouldnt be afraid at looking at black QBs. When we pick up a white WR or HB you just dont see hordes of our black fans attacking their character, or threatening to give up on us, or nitpicking their actions. You just dont see me creating threads hyping up Tavaris Jackson or Seneca Wallace is better than Brady because Im too proud to say a white QB is better than a black one. Lets just keep it real, the distrust and overanalyzaion is people venting over someone they cant relate to. Cam is still an outsider.

no offense, but that's complete bullshit... I've heard this said by a few posters and I cannot fathom how people think it's okay to totally disregard reality because they would rather be over-dramatic.

your exaggerated example is not a good one when people are nitpicking on Cam hating to lose.. Our QB hates to lose and people are nitpicking that issue. it's a sad reality when grown men think like little girls.
