Talking about now man. We've won 3 of the last 6. You've won one of the last 6.

Oh, I'm sorry. Silly me. I should have known that when we consider how good our teams were/are, we only look at the past 3 years, or only the recent years where you are good.

So, does that mean I can throw out our 2008 season when we went undefeated at home in the reg season and swept you in the division? That is in the past 3 years.

Or....does that not count because it doesn't fall in the small window of time when the Saints have actually done something successful?

I'm saying in the current era we are the dominate team in the NFCS - Hence you guys "knocking us off". Ask any fan across the country who the best team in the NFCS has been recently and none will hesitate to say the Saints. Its the truth, get over it.

I never said that you weren't the best most recently.....except, of course, last year....when you didn't win it. O yeah, and in 2008 too.

If by "most recently" or "current era", we consider that being only this year, then yes, I think it would go to you.

I think plenty of people would hesitate to say the Falcons over the Saints....but maybe that's just me.

2006 New Orleans Saints 10–6 Lost NFC Championship (Bears) 39–14

2007 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 9–7 Lost Wild Card Playoff (Giants) 24–14

2008 Carolina Panthers 12–4 Lost Divisional Playoff (Cardinals) 33–13

2009 New Orleans Saints 13–3 Won Super Bowl XLIV (Colts) 31–17

2010 Atlanta Falcons 13–3 Lost Divisional Playoff (Packers) 48-21

2011 New Orleans Saints 13–3 TBD

Its just you. Also looking back since 2001 you guys are likely the worst in the NFCS just based on NFCS titles and playoff wins...

Atlanta Falcons 2 titles - 5 playoff wins - no superbowl wins

Carolina Panthers 2 titles - 3 playoff wins - no superbowl wins

New Orleans Saints 3 titles - 4 playoff wins - 1 superbowl title

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 3 titles - 3 playoff wins - 1 superbowl title

lol, 2001? that's your magical number?

You're starting to sound just as delusional as any Steeler or Cowboys fan.

Thank god we didn't have to go through over 10 years of consecutive losing seasons just to finally make something of ourselves.

2001 is when the NFCS started FYI...

What exactly have you made of yourselves? Perinneal celler dwellers without a Superbowl title? NFL leaders in "moral victories"? Love how Panthers fans think they've had this storied franchise history. You've lost one superbowl...have no hall of fame players...your best player was known for being a part of the best linebacker core of all time with the Saints...thats your history.

OHHHHH okay. No team came into existence or mattered until the NFCS came to be.

Gotcha.

So we can just go ahead and cancel out all the pooty years your team had until 2001.

My bad I thought we were discussing who the best team in the NFCS was. Guess I should have considered all those years before the NFCS existed...

Oh, I didn't realize I should give a poo about who Saints fans consider our "best player" to be.

Like I said earlier....you have one more divisional title than we do...just came this year.

talk about not making anything of yourself for a hell of a long time.

Oh, and to your HOF comment....

Until the selection of Rickey Jackson in 2010, there had been no players in the Hall of Fame whose time with the Saints contributed to their selection; the others were chosen for their work with previous teams
