I mean the only ones who have played well at CB have been Gamble, Hogan, and Bulter(at times). It shouldn't be a problem to at least try him out there.

I disagree with he and Godfrey being let go, but Martin and the CBs are terrible...

Next year I expect the CB position to look like this:

LCB: Chris Gamble - Darius Butler - Brandon Hogan

RCB: (FA/DP) - Captain Munnerlyn

Munnerlyn was good as a #3 corner. Butler and Hogan would probably rotate. We just have too many good backups and need a starter.

He isn't going to be on the roster next season. I posted this two months ago. Ron went to Hurney in October and told him (among other things) in essence "Martin will not play for me next season and I don't anticipate anything happening that changes my mind, so you need to plan on getting a better starting free safety." Not that there needed to be any greater level of assurance, but today....Jesus. You can't play any worse.

We most likely need 3 Safties. Pugh sucks. Martin sucks. Nelson is a question mark. We definatly need 2, but wouldn't be surprised if we pick up 3 new safeties through the Draft and/or Free Agency.
