Amazing how plans can go to crap

Just did a test run on the bike. Out of shape so the times will get better but 45 minutes to work. 1:30 back. Good/Bad thing is there is a hill I have to go down to get to work no avoiding it. Sucker is about 1 1/2 miles down with 5% grade. So getting to work is the easy part getting home I have to climb that hill. ugh! One thing for sure I will be in good cardio in about 3 weeks. lol

That sounds perfect... quick to work in the morning, no sweating... workout on the way home.

Well found a place in Aiea it is right above Pearl Harbor and the Stadium. Great view of them both and I can see the Arizona Memorial from the back deck. Will be riding my bike to work so that will be some good exercise til i get my car here.

I lived in Aiea for about 9 months before I moved to the other side of the Island, in the Pearl Ridge area of Aiea. Not a bad place, but I lived just behind one of the Korean "buy me drink" bars. Heard some interesting conversations on the balcony at night. :)

Like the area. specially with the Arizona memorial and Missouri out the window. Pretty cool for a history buff to see that and imagine what happened. Only problem is the bus transportation isnt that great. But really like the island so far havent met one person that wasnt nice to me. But I know there will be some.

Went to China town on Friday for a block party that was interesting.
