I wasn't on this board the year that Jason Pierre Paul was drafted... But I knew He was going to be a BEAST... I will NEVER understand why we passed him up and can't really remember who we drafted ahead of him that year, if I had to guess I'd say it was Everette Brown.

I'll never forgive Marty for not picking up JPP... Dude is straight BEASTING up in NY for the Giants. Our Defense would be disgusting with him in the fold...

While I agree that Captain's not really suited for the number 2 role, if we are forced to use him again next year, I believe our rejuvenated linebacking core and dline will help mask some of his deficiencies and help boost the play of the entire secondary as a whole.

Do you mean getting Beason back? That hopefully Beason can play at his previous level, and stay healthy?

In my mind TD is gone... (I know he's not) but if u look at it that way, when/if He goes down with another injury it'll be easier to deal with.

Also Connor will be testing FA market, so He will likely be going bye bye as well.

Our LB corp is probably the biggest Draft need outside of CB and OT.

Injuries hurt us but our defense sucks. It's not just injuries. Davis' injury just means draft. CB is obviously a draft. Safety, possibly in the late rounds. Beason was lost but Connor is solid enough to win. What other injuries? Oh edwards? He's one DT, he doesn't make our Oline a contender, we need two and as much time as you'd like to give the rookies we have this is not yet a for sure thing.

I hope we make room on the roster for some defensive competition. I want a CB as big as gamble so QBs would stop fuging passing over Butler's and Captain's head. I wish we'd get rid of AE and Clausen. I wonder what finally made Hurney suck up and admit to his mistake with Brown and kick him to the curb yet AE looks like he did his very first game two years ago.

For offense...lets see maybe some oline depth? Possibly another WR but I don't see it.

I expect like the past draft we'll get an influx of talent.. I don't foresee Rivera holding onto players for far too long.. At least I hope like hell that horrible flaw isn't present in this coach too..

Trust me, i would've loved to have him as our defensive coordinator, but i give this a 1% chance of happening and i see him being on the Eagles staff, though i hope he ends up as a head coach somewhere.

Spags is pretty much a lock to lose his job after the game. But if philly doesn't get him the giants definitely will. Besides, under mcdermott the past 5 weeks the panthers defense has forced 10 turnovers and with the personnel we have playing defense i wouldn't toss him away just yet

We didn't have a first round pick that year thanks to the Everette Brown trade. The only way we could have got Pierre paul is if we traded our 2011 1st round pick and a couple others with it. That pick would end up being the #1 overall pick and which would mean we would never have Cam.

Off the top of my head, don't know of any prior direct connection between Rivera and Spagnoulo. I'd have to look to be sure though.
