Notes on some not-so-well-known prospects that might pique your interest

Marcus Forston - Apparently he was a fuging prodigy coming out of high school but he's struggled with injuries throughout his college career which has hindered his progression. Was a rotational guy in 2008 and his best year was 2010 where he played all the games and registered 12 TFLs and 3 sacks. Don't know if I would risk anything higher than a late round on the guy

Chandler Jones - Played in only 7 games but made the most of them with 37 tackles. Projects to a 6th or 7th round pick according to a Syracuse fan. However Mel Kiper (yea, I know, horrible reference) had said that after his senior year (which would've been 2012) he would've been polished enough to be a potential first round pick. Talking heads and draft pundits said the same thing about Charles Johnson and Greg Hardy (but that had a reverse effect; declaring a season earlier would've had him picked much higher in 2009 than 2010)

Brandon Washington - on the heels of a so-so season by Wharton, and question marks at RG (Schwartz? Hangartner? Will Geoff even be here come next season?), here is some info on Washington from his profile on Miami's team website.

2010 FIRST TEAM ALL-ACC SELECTION

2011 (JUNIOR): Started all 12 games of the season for the Hurricanes ... Made the shift from left guard to left tackle for his junior campaign ... Finished the year with an overall grade of 86% ... Made only five mental errors over the course of the season, and registered only three penalties against.

2010 (SOPHOMORE): One of three offensive linemen to start all 13 games ... Second on the team with 56 pancake blocks, and 11 lumberjack blocks ... Graded out at 99 percent against Pittsburgh, the highest grade of any starter all season ... Graded out at 95 percent against Virginia Tech ... Earned ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week honors after Virginia Tech (loss) and Duke (win) games ... Leader of Miami offensive line that earned more weekly honors than any school in the league during the 2010 season.

2009 (FRESHMAN): Played in all 13 games mainly on the place-kicking unit, but made first career start at left guard against USF while playing 53 snaps and grading out at 90 percent with five pancake blocks ... Started at left guard against Wisconsin in Champs Sports Bowl ... Also played guard against Florida A&M, UCF and Virginia.

People are saying he should be picked 3rd or 4th as of now

Jayron Hosley - People are projecting him as a 2nd round pick. Has adequate height but he's a stick figure at 175lbs and it interferes with his ability to defend the run and make tackles. Has been labeled a "zone corner" but was an interception machine in 2010. Also offers potential as a punt returner
