I would say 10-6 as long as we can stay healthy "IF" we can stay healthy i will say again. Its really a unclear year because so much depends on how all our new coaches do and how well we deal with whatever happens with Peppers and the lack of Depth at OL and DL.

10-6, wild card, lose in NFCCG to Philly

not what i would prefer but still one step closer to the big one. i would rather see us climbing. team for the most part is young. window is far from closing and i would love to see us opening it wider every year...just as long as we go through it.

It will be progress...

i left out the part about Jake getting benched or "injured" when we are 2-5 and Matt Moore being the man:)

i don't care how we get there just as long as we do.

i am loving the idea of moore. still think we should go with a QB next year in the draft but i have a good bit if faith that moore could do the job if called upon. kind of like a choke free romo.

If you get your wish with Jake getting hurt or benched, Josh McCown will get the first shot at it.;)

BTW, why would anybody predict 7-9? Do people not expect some improvement from all those young starters we had last year?

hurt egos leftover from the loss in the playoffs. i guess they feel like there is no way that we could recover from that.

we sucked in 3 games game last year. one was a playoff game. we are going to be playing a couple better offenses and a couple better defenses but nothing that we can't handle and really no one that we can't beat. last year, in spite of that embarrassing loss, we showed that our team could hang with the best of them. we will see more of that in '09.

sounds like a lot of the same tough schedule just above .500 depends on this and that mumbo jumbo that floated around the huddle just before the last season began.

i'll take some of what chris harris said after the arizona loss, he reminded everyone that the bears lost their first playoff game one season...then went to the superbowl the next.

one complaint that i've always had about the panthers is their inability to handle consistently winning.

i think this squad is over that. winning is an expectation for them. not something that just happens to happen.

Yes, and it was basically poor QB play and poor defensive playcalling that lost the Arizona game for us... DC is gone and it was an uncharacteristic game for Jake... our future looks very bright!

16-0. We'll win both NFC playoff games at home by a combined score of 110-0. We'll then set a Super Bowl scoring record while recording the first ever Super Bowl shutout!

Jake gets league MVP. Moose retires with a ring. The Panther cheerleaders gleefully accept my offer of employment (duties to be determined) after I personally set a record with the winnings I collect from the Powerball lottery!

Sound like a plan? Hmmm?
