This is speaking before the draft, before any Peppers move, and before signing anyone post-draft:

7-9 if we move Peppers and get decent picks for him

4-12 if we can't move Peppers and he mopes even worse than he did in 2007

The latter scenario will result in Fox and Hurney being axed, Peppers finally being moved, and Sam Bradford being drafted to lead us to a Super Bowl. :)

You seriously think a 12-4 team can become a 4-12 team next season with basically the same exact team.

4-2 against NFCS

2-2 against NFCE

3-1 against AFCE

1-1 against two other teams

10-6 going into the playoffs one way or another.

panthers are forced, because of the level of offenses they face, to be a high scoring team averaging about 30 points a game.

the run game comes alive bigger than before and breaks the NFL record for most rushing yards (729 more than we got this past year) and TDs (7 more than we got this past year) in a season.

passing game, out of necessity, takes a big role as well as we get over 20 passing TDs.

defense really steps up in a big way as well causing 30+ turnovers contrasting with the offense only turning the ball over less than 15 times. defense isn't considered a top 10 defense because of the caliber of offenses we play next year but they do manage to keep them to 3 TDs a game which will give us just enough cushion to pull out the wins we need to get to 10-6.

it can happen.

The panthers will play at least 16 games and the fans will enjoy the fact that football is being played again. I'll go out on a limb and say that they win at least 6 games and lose at least 1.

Now I'll really go out on a limb and say that they play 20 games after the pre-season is over.

I go into every year not expecting anything spectacular from the team.

I always hope for dominance though.

Realistically, the falcons are gonna do their thing this year and likely end up with at least the wild card spot again. We can't count out the Aints either. The Hopeful side of me wants to say we go 8-0 at home again and 4-4 on the road. :coolgleamA:

with the offense we have, I find it hard to believe we will win less than 6 games....

I don't care who the competition is.....we have 1/2 of the formula for a very successful team in a great running game, and fox has stated he's going to fix the defense. I believe him and I think we will have a successful season. I think 9-11 wins is very possible.
