Yeah I live at the Lake so SC is not a realistic option. I have just become numb to gas prices. You have to drive to work or vacation so fug it. I moved closer to my current job so that has made more of a difference than worrying about 20-30 cent a gallon..

Also if you are freaking out about a small percentage increase in gas you are in for an ulcer with the looming inflation we are going to have in this country...

I have a Civic Hybrid and get around 42 mpg in Charlotte and 50 when I go on road trips.

I'll soon be working from home or in shared office space less than a mile from the place I just bought in uptown, so I will only have to fill up once a month, if that.

my TSX got 42 mpg on the way to Boston over the summer. Way over EPA reported estimates.

It might be the perfect car.
