Do it before Sunday. Gas tax goes up 8 cents a gallon as of January 1st in NC!

4 Cents for NC State Gas Tax and 4 cents for Federal Gas Tax!

And I think Verizon Wireless is going to charge $2.00 if you pay your bill through their website! Starting Jan 15th.

When I had my Corvette and worked out of Helen Adams Realty out of Ballentyne. I drove the 3 miles to a Texaco and saved at least 15 cents a gallon to fill it up too.

Whenever I'm down in SC, I fill up before coming back.

Never understood the fascination with saving a few cents per gallon. The average gas tank is around 15-20 gallons so at best you save a couple bucks.

I generally fill up once a week... and generally save around $3.50 by driving another two miles into SC

$3.50x52=$182

that's a good chunk of change for me
