The best thing to happen to cam was getting kicked out/leaving florida. I saw an interview where he said he was home before going to blinn and people were asking him why he was there. He said that was the most humbling thing to ever happen to him. The kid has perspective. He knows what happens if you screw up and face possibly loosing everything. Adversity doesn't build character. It shows character. It has made him so driven to be great that there is really no limit to what he can become.

I actually think there is something to this. I think if we knew more about behind the scenes dealings when they're about to bring in a guy I bet they bring Cam in to ask if he wants to have certain guy as part of his team.

Hoping Newton can go out and lure some big time free agents into Carolina in the offseason too
