So who is ready for double digit wins and playoffs next year?

Next year we play the following slate.

Home:

Bucs, Falcons, Saints, Cowboys, Giants, Cardinals, Raiders, Chargers

Away

Bucs, Falcons, Saints, Eagles, Redskins, Bears, Broncos, Chiefs

I can see nine wins with that schedule, maybe ten.

looking at that, there isn't any team i feel intimidated by.

we very well could go undefeated at home against those guys.

i say we'll probably split with the falcons and saints.

there's easily more wins than losses on that list of opponents.

if i had to predict right now i'd say we go 4-2 in the division, split with the NFCE, maybe 3-1 against AFCW, and beat the bears and the cards.

that's very doable, imo.

Beat the Ain'ts this weekend and we put the whole league on notice.

A whole offseason, return of injured players, addition of ATHLETIC draft picks, a FA or two, an impactful Hogan, and we are Elite. After that, the skies the limit. Glad I am not afraid of heights.

Beat the Aint's, period. And GOOOO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With just mediocre defense or ST play this season and we would have had 9 or 10 wins. We completely pissed away games against the Falcons, Saints, Cardinals, Bears, Packers. With any sort of luck, we should have won 3 of those games.

Barring Cam from having a Sophomore slump, the offense should be even better next season. Get Beason and Edwards healthy....plus a good draft and a few FA's and the Defense shoudl be significantly better.

No reason to see why 10 wins is not possible next year.

    • Did I miss something?  The people we have developing players now are not the ones we've had in the past so I don't know what the heck people are talking about when they say we are not good at developing players right now.  We only have one year to go on.  Canales likes young players or players who are on an upward trajectory, especially in FA this year.  Past QB's and what he's done with Bryce are good examples. Tershawn Wharton - 26 Tre'von Moehrig - 25 Pat Jones II - 26 Bobby Brown III - 24 Michael Jackson - 28 Jaycee Horn - 25 Tommy Tremble - 24 We missed on Milton Williams but he's 26. Everyone else we picked up are on 1 year deals.  The Panthers new front office and Canales absolutely scream developmental team. Pick 8 (stay) Tier 1 Elite - Abdul Carter, Travis Hunter and Mason Graham Tier 2 Elite - Jalon Walker, Mykel Williams, Will Johnson Trade down: There are quite a few really good players that fit us at Edge, DT, S and WR mid to late 1st and high 2nd.  Some combos that would be possible that I really like.  Imagine getting 2 of these guys by trading down. Stark, Pierce Jr, Golden, Scourton, Grant, Emmanwori, Ezeiruaku, Umanmielen, Deone Walker, Harmon and this is just off the top of my head.
    • Honestly, I couod see Pittsburgh  moving all the way to 3 to get Sanders. Their window is now and Tomlin  clock is ticking. Their roster doesn't have many holes, so picks shouldn't worry them.  Depends on the Giants mindset but they could bend them over and get future 1st since they don't have any 2nds.
    • I sometimes question why the mention height when most edge defenders are around 6'2.   Maybe it's bc he was a senior and then are nitpicking.
