Okay...seriously, who were the five folks that voted for The Golden Calf of Bristol...I know Skip Bayless must be one of the Tim voters but who were the other four?? lmbo.

Since the poll was of players and not media guys....

Interesting though - look at three of the five comments from guys who voted for The Golden Calf of Bristol.

“I pick The Golden Calf of Bristol. I believe in the guy. I think he’s a winner. He’s gonna do everything it takes, no matter what it is, whether it’s running it, throwing it—he’s going to do everything it takes to win that ballgame. I’m a believer. I’m sold. (But) I do like Cam. Cam has all the tools and everything like that, but there’s just something about The Golden Calf of Bristol.’’ — NFC offensive player

“The Golden Calf of Bristol. It just seems that’s the way his life trend is going, man.” — NFC defensive player

“He just keeps finding ways to win games. It’s not always pretty, but he gets it done.” — AFC defensive player

Is The Golden Calf of Bristol playing any different than the other QBs? You could attach that quote to Rodgers and it would fit.

They sound like they want to burn incense at Tim's feet...:D

He's not, but you apparently are. Must be one of those new Camolina fans. Quick! Who was our first coach?

Well, I could tell that from the number of posts he had. The last line was a throw in line to add additional sarcasm, of course.

And where do I go to sign up on the Panther's Fan Seniority List since, by virtue of seniority, you are obviously a better fan? Gosh... I CAN'T WAIT!

(Because, as we all know, there haven't been "senior" Panthers fans in this forum that have been behaving like pissy little whiners all season, right?)

Cam would have won the National Championship at Stanford too

hahaha, i dont know about that, i think it would've been closer, but Stanford's defense would've gave up too much points.

What is funny is, The Golden Calf of Bristol is more in the Matt Satfford, Eli Manning class of coming to life in the wee hours of the fourth qrter but no one seems to be comparing Tim to them...:smilielol5::smilielol5:

i dont put him in the Stafford class, i think Stafford is much better, Eli is what he is. i like him as a passer, but he's inconsistant and i think Cam is better than him right now, dont feel the same (right now) about Stafford.

Quick! Who was our first coach?

easy question. for any Panther fan.

Stafford's numbers do not support that at all, though he has lead a number of 4th quarter comebacks he is most prolific in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. Now by half, yes, the 2nd half is his better half, but that's because he "merely" has an 87.8 QB rating in the 1st quarter.

Keywords from the people who picked Newton: Ability, pocket passer, duel threat, athlete.

Keywords from the people who picked The Golden Calf of Bristol: life trend, believe, believer

The people dillusional enough to pick The Golden Calf of Bristol are not doing it for football related reasons.

Why is Cam compared to The Golden Calf of Bristol in the 1st place?

The Golden Calf of Bristol is a 2nd year player who has had the benefit of a true NFL offseason program.

the problem with this though is that his head coach and qb coach werent with him this offseason which did NOT help him, he's basically a young guy like The Golden Calf of Bristol, now in my book there is no comparison with these two except both are running QBs who played for Florida, other than that, there's no comparison. Newton is a proven pocket passer who's got to work on decision making and The Golden Calf of Bristol is working at improving as a pocket passer and improve other things.
