Had a friend from Tampa call yesterday. He said Josh Freeman was wandering the streets of downtown Tampa in warm up pants and a hoody mumbling something about inadequacy and the size of Cam's ball bag.

Clearly, he will not recover in time for their game against the Falcons.

If the Saints were smart, they would not allow any of their starters anywhere near the dome. Unless they want to be one and done in the playoffs (hell, they probably will be anyways), they should not let any of their starters witness the exclamation point Cam will be putting on his record breaking rookie season. I believe once Cam throws his 4th touchdown of the game after rushing for 3, he will then gently place his balls on top of the dome, thus setting the record for the world's largest tea bag.

I honestly believe that the final score in our game with the Saints will have huge implications for us next season. If they bench their starters, it means little--unless we lose. Frankly, I think we have already turned the corner. I hope they play their starters and we play well. Who is New Orleans backup QB?

Besides, Brees has this record they are all proud of in N.0.--And Brady is only about 150 yards behind. He will throw for 300+ vs. the Bills.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the Saints would lose home field to SF if they lose. I think SF would lose home field vs. NO if they lose to the Rams. So, NO takes all the pressure of SF if they lose.

If the 49ers had anyone this weekend but the Rams, I would say the Saints need to try hard to win Sunday, but they can't really lose anything by losing.

I suspect they'll play Brees for a couple of drives, maybe the first quarter, and then pull him... I wouldn't hold him out of the whole game if I was them.

Our opponents' win percentage is .482 right now. At the beginning of the year, we had the toughest schedule in the league, supposedly, because our opponents' win percentage from 2010 was .555. Is there carryover from one year to the next? Maybe. Ask the Bucs. Ask the Chiefs. Ask the Lions and the 49ers.

I want to win too, but if NO puts in their bench, I hope we do too.
