NFLN Proclaims Newton The Greatest Rookie Ever

Hey Grits, I would take our "situation" over the Broncos or Bengals situation ANY DAY... as for the "year after year" comment, when was the last time the Broncos or Bengals made a SB appearance?

Really? Truly? You wouldn't rather be one game away from the playoffs instead of playing for nothing at this point n time? I guess i'm an old dinosaur who wants to win more than anything in this world.

Who cares? They are in the hunt this year which is where i wanted the Panthers to be.

It's difficult to trade a wildcard spot for Cam Newton. Winning is important but a franchise QB means long term stability. I think Dalton is really great so having a stable QB position and playoffs is nice, but Newton's ceiling is so much higher.

Well i for one have been enjoying the holidays. Am also pretty excited about Dalton and the possibility of him making the playoffs in his rookie season. But even if he doesn't it pretty amazing of him just to be in this situation considering the Bengals make up at the beginning of the season. Rookie quarterback, rookie wideout, 2nd year wideouts and tightends, brand new OC and a very short off season to prepare. This Kid has been flat out amazing and if he beat the Ravens and makes the playoffs it should be one of the most talked about stories of the 2011 season. Along with The Golden Calf of Bristol leading his team to the playoffs, if it happens.

Completion percentage: Cam 60%, Dalton 58.9%

So I guess you totally blacked out when you go to this part:

Total TDs on offense: Carolina 45, Cincinnati 30

And this part:

Scoring defense: Cincinnati 19.9 (9th), Carolina 25.6 (26th)

Yards per game, defense: Cincinnati 314.2 (6th), Carolina 361.7 (22nd)

Defensive TDs: Cincinnati 3 (tied for 5th), Carolina 0 (tied for last)

Golly... I wonder how Cincy can be in playoff contention and Carolina not when Carolina has scored HALF AGAIN AS MANY MORE TOUCHDOWNS IN THE ENTIRE SEASON than Cincinnati has?

Hmmmmmm... I wonder? Gotta be Andy Dalton and A.J. Green, right?
